imseeingred2 posted a message on [[Official]] Legacy Ban List Discussion Thread (Read OP before Posting)I play legacy enchantress with decent results considering it is .1% of the meta and fairly a budget/fringe strategy. That being said I have an obsession with enchantments and Survival of the Fittest has always stood out to me as a fair legacy card that just has too much consistency to be legal, it's more of an engine issue than a power issue. We still allow turn 1/2/3 win's/or griselbrand/merit leige/emrakul's in legacy so i think it is time to reconsider this card in the current meta. Hopefully I am not considered biased as this card is not playable in enchantress. I realize that at its peak it was a 40% deck but there is plenty of graveyard/enchantment hate these days. I see this card no more broken as counterbalance with split cards.Posted in: Legacy (Type 1.5) -

ubernostrum posted a message on Zendikari expeditionsPlease keep in mind how they explained this on the stream: these cards WILL NOT become Standard-legal as a result of the "Expeditions" printing. They were careful to explain that you can play one in Sealed/Draft if you open it, but for Constructed you can only play it if it was already legal for the format. So the printing of enemy fetches and shocklands as "Expeditions" cards WILL NOT add them to Standard.Posted in: The Rumor Mill - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

III is really good, in most cases there will be a creature or planeswalker with cmc over 5, so it basically pays for itself after three turns. All three abilities provide card advantage, with I and III providing mana advantage. In most cases it is better than a 5cmc enchantment with "draw three cards. at beg. of your upkeep, put a counter, at three counters sacrifice and gain 5 mana"
Compared to Ob Nixilis Reignited, +1 and -3 are better in exchange for starting with one less loyalty.
super powerful late game
Better than The Chain Veil

2. Judges in the market would have to prove their trustworthiness and fairness. Again, this all happens through market competition.
3.If you raise your price too high, people will buy from someone else.
4. Then someone will patronize a non-cartelized protection agency, besides cartels never last very long...
5. These protection agecies wont want to fight each other because that is expensive, and is bad press for the protection agency that started the battle.
Another thing that I want to add is this, it is kind of ironic that people are arguing for the state to protect our property rights even though the state violates people's property rights through taxation.

This would really make those who have invested much into the game mad. But I think it is inevitable because of the reasons stated in the article and because of counterfeiters getting better and better in their practice.

Burn is too strong
Let's ban burn
Tron is too strong
Let's ban tron
Junk is too strong
Let's ban Junk
Infect is too strong
Let's ban Infect
See where this is going?
There is always going to be a top deck. In legacy it is miracles in Standard it is Abzan, in Vintage it is shops,
The point is bans aren't the answer unless a deck is totally dominant(30+% of the meta) in order to minimize decks totally dominating and ruining a format(Eldrazi) we need more unbans. Also, instead of banning to shake up a format, maybe try unbanning a card so as to achieve the same goal without making people upset.
