It's been a long time sense I installed MWS, and I was hoping to find a recent Masterbase. The link in the MWS thread is dead, and I can't find one anywhere online.

I've been using tapped out, and essential magic. But neither of those are very good for mobile, are there better alternatives?

It is good with the two color dragons that trigger on Dragon attacks. That can make it better than just lava axe.

The program is working great, but the links seem to be dead on their website. You get general error messages when trying to use them, or log into the forums.

That page is also dead, it's like the entire site doesn't work anymore.

To be fair, you should probably have said something about your cards being balanced against power and not current cards when you first posted them so that people reviewing them have an objective baseline for comparison.

You have a point, I just was thinking that cube is a powered environment. But yeah, everyone should mention the power level they are aiming at in their initial post to avoid confusion.

It's fun to aim a little higher than current level, modern day, Magic.

First, moon pearl is a little overpowered. It's basically a mox.

Why yes, yes it is. Toned down, but yes it was supposed to be a spin on a mox.
Spontanious combustion is too good as well as misspelled.

I have thought of moving it to a sorcery, but if you're going to tell someone what they have typed is misspelled, spell check yourself. Smile But I will double check my spelling.
Dragon's flame is just broken. Really, really broken. It would probably be broken if it only dealt 3 damage.

So far the card has actually been pretty balanced, being a sorcery is a big drawback. Along with you paying the life before the damage is done, you cant be at four or less and just kill an opponent with no mana.
Blessing of the goddess is also broken. See concentrate.

See Ancestral Recall a cube staple the world over. This is a lower power level than that. It will more than likely get tweaked sometime, but so far its been good. Compared to that, its 3x the cost, all colored and two colors. It would be way too good for a constructed environment, but Cube isn't that.
Finally, all 3 of your lands are broken, but especially secluded paradise. See rupture spire.

Rupture Spire is far from being good enough for non-powered cubes, let alone powered ones.

I think you're taking the creations here as being held to current WotC standards. Cubes are vacuums, they need to be balanced within themselves. And Custom Cubes are always in "Playtest" mode. And this is no different. My cube always has some card tweaked either a little up, or down, in power. So far the ones I have posted have actually been not broken. Maybe when everything settles, they might get tweaked like everything else.

But seriously, I know this is the internet, when critiquing someone. Offer ideas to help, or also say things you liked or just leave the keyboard alone. Didn't your mother teach you "If you don't have anything nice to say..."

I am definitely looking for feedback, that's why i posted them, but I would like constructive criticism. Ways to help my creations, all your post was is "This is bad, that's bad. This sucks, too powered..." no ideas on what to do to help or realizing what the point could have been of their power level.

That is a problem with a Custom Card thread, especially a Custom Cube thread. Each person is going for a different power environment. Mine is going for closer to traditional powered cube level, some might be designing for a pauper cube, or non-powered.

Dragon Flame need a mana or two tack in.

You might be right, but so far it has been OK. That could change at any time with how many changes get made to the environment each time its played.

Here are a few of my favorites from my Custom Cube. It has a rebel theme in White and Green. White is the normal, put into play from library while green the searching costs a lot less, but the cards only go to hand. Though you can get non-permanent cards, like instants and sorceries.

There are a cycle of "Mounts" which are creatures that are also equipment. They have triggered abilities that when you activate their equip cost they stop being creatures and grant basically their stats to the equipped creature.

Another cycle is Allied swords, like Sword of Fire and Ice but they are protection from two ally colors. Like Red and Black, instead of enemy.

I included a lot of Mix & Match keywords. If you listened to Maro's Drive To Work on the Time Spiral Block (Specifically Future Sight) then thats basically it. Keywords that felt fun together.

It contains a few new keywords:
Discover: While searching your library, you may cast cards with Discover by paying their Discover Cost. Think Panglacial Wurm but the cost is different than its casting cost.
Scrounge: Randomly reclaim, but you can put it on the bottom of your library.

(These two were done as a cycle)

This variant could also be refered to as the fatstack.

You wouldn't. Things like searching your library (tutors, etc...), mana ramp from library doesn't work in this format. So I would take any library manipulation out of the pile before playing this.

Just Grabbing a stack from a normal forms cube would include those, a thought is they can just be dedicated lands, grab a land from what you'd use if regular cubing, or the have cycling 0 effectively.

That's perfect. That does sound quick and fun to play. How do you handle casting like rampant growth?

Hi everybody, I am looking for fun alternate ways to Cube. And get a nice comprehensive list. That would be ways to play, of draft. Things that come to mind are like Winston drafting, live drafting. What fun and crazy things have you guys done with your cubes?

That was it! Anaconda! I was thinking of doing it with cube. The first time I heard bout this lands were talked about. Just cracking starters and going.

Is there a website that has a list of custom limited formats?
