Hungry Flames is pretty decent. Also it doesn't fizzle if the creature is sacced or becomes an illegal target in response.
But you still need a creature on board to use it; cant go straight to the face at will.
True, but if there are no creatures in the opponent side, you are already winning.
Also, suppose that neither you nor the opponent have creatures. As Hungry Flames is an instant, you can cast it the moment their creature enters the battlefield.
Humprey puts great value in not dying to pingers. But besides that, the amount of creatures with cmc 1 is minimal. Even if the Enforcer is not strictkly better, I think it's better most of the time.
It is not that I am considering adding even more answers, but that I would like to know if, in the case I have to consider in the future maybe removing some of the answers that are there right now, It should really weight against cuting them.
What enchantments /artifacts do you consider that deserve having specific responses in a cube? I ask because I have now a modern-only cube, so artifacts like flood are no longer present. So I wan to know if i can excempt myself from having some hate efects just for the sake of having them.
Enchantment and artifact hate: yes, no, how much? I've been looking at the lists of the members of this forum and seen that many of those cards have been removed. Is it necesary to have that kind of hate, or is it not?
Epicure of blood for 3 mana, for those that support this archetype.
1 life etb and 1 life for each creatures that etb.
Ghitu Chronicler. Problem with kicker is that doesn't fit within blink.
Flash, Flying, mill 2. Nice for UB draw-go control, but the mill is mor of a weakness for us.

I always welcome cards that subtly add to the +1 counters theme, but that could go in any cube.
This is, like, seriously good, right?
