Okay I'm running a Naya Colored EDH deck being with Uril, the Miststalker and I'm having trouble against Ghave, Guru of Spores EDH which runs Grave Pact and other stuff that forces me to sacrifice creatures including my General.
What Red, Green, and White cards or perhaps Colorless cards would prevent my opponent from having me to sacrifice my own creatures? Tajuru Preserver seems like the only card that stops it but what else?
Well I guess I could run more LD spells but I really need a way to deal with Ghave and Zur since those EDH decks tend to give me the most trouble. I was hoping you'd tell me which cards to take out and what to throw in.
I think I need to run better Artifacts, mainly the Signets from Ravnica block as I hardly have very many of them. I was wanting to run 2 more Planeswalkers, maybe Garruk 1.0, Koth, and Elspeth or Ajani Goldmane.
Any more advice and suggestions are appreciated...
Deck strategy is this, get Uril out with a load of Enchantment Auras onto him to swing for 21 General damage. I figured one way to get more Enchantments on him than once was to send them to my Graveyard via Oath of Druids and get them attached to Uril with Retether, Replenish, or Open the Vaults mid to late game.
Since Ghave, Guru of Spores is popular in my metagame for EDH, I figured why not run Burning-Tree Shaman and Suppression Field to get around that somehow, maybe run Damping Matrix while I'm at it as well. The other popular EDH deck in my meta is Zur the Enchanter which goes off really fast early to mid game where I have few responses against it which I need help on.
Any other help, advice, and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I was just wondering say my Opponent has Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite on the battlefield and he/she casts Natural Affinity to give all my lands -2/-2 since they become creatures until end of turn thus destroying them right?
If I have Sacred Ground on the battlefield when that happens does that mean that those lands that got destroyed by that combo come back to the battlefield untapped? What If I casted Skyshroud Blessing to give all lands shroud until end of turn?
I think what's making it seem like the Republican candidates are trolling us is the
Super PAC ad's being advertised which is most likely giving out a different message from what the candidates actually say in the Debates and such. Government has gotten so big that money has become the deciding factor of National Elections nowadays.
Look at the recent Florida Primary Debate where Rick Santorum was gaining momentum on several issues, sure he would have enough momentum to win the Florida Primary to try to become the GOP Nominee but in the end it's whatever candidate has the most money that ensures they get elected into the White House and that candidate is looking like either Romney or Gingrich.
The Democrats are hoping that Gingrich becomes the GOP Nominee so that Obama can beat them and the reason why Mitt Romney is favored to win the Florida Primary this weekend by the GOP is because since he is the richest candidate in the race he has the best chance of beating Obama, there was a prediction not too long ago that Romney would win the Electoral College while Obama would win the Popular Vote.
Yeah but ACTA has been debated behind closed doors globally for 4-5 years, and the U.S. Government was using SOPA/PIPA as leverage to distract everyone from ACTA before it signs into law soon by the EU and Ireland.
First of all, ACTA isn't going to censor the Internet, it's just going to monitor your usage on it; where you go and what you do there. As long as you don't do anything questionable (like download copywritten material), you'll be fine. The ISP's will be the one's doing the monitoring not the U.S. Government or any other Government.
So until the U.S. Government creates laws that will be based off of ACTA like SOPA/PIPA or the OPEN Act, ACTA has no effect at all. As for YouTube and Google they don't enable piracy and they don't sell anything so they'll be safe. The situation with Megaupload/Megavideo that was mostly Anonymous's fault for provoking the U.S. Government into shutting down those websites by hacking into Government websites by the Pentagon and the White House.
ACTA is a treaty, not a law. It's powerless until a law is put into motion that supports it.
Every right-thinking person abhors child pornography. To combat it, legislators have brought through committee a poorly conceived, over-broad Congressional bill, The Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers Act of 2011. It is arguably the biggest threat to civil liberties now under consideration in the United States. The potential victims: everyone who uses the Internet.

I think a better question is can we support Mitt Romney, I mean this is a guy who says that corporations are people and FOX News has compared him to Bernie Madoff while msnbc has compared him to Gordon Gekko of the movie Wall Street you know the one starring Michael Douglas? When you also look at Romney's track record with Bain Capital it sort of makes sense.
Let's see so Romney is the richest GOP candidate running for President while Obama has already shelled out more money to ensure that he wins the Electoral College this Election. Either way of how the result of this Election turns out it will still be the same, they are just like every other politician benefiting more to the 1% of America while the 99% are still struggling to survive.
My only complaint is that BBC America doesn't show enough Doctor Who regardless If they are new episodes or reruns of classic episodes. We already know how popular it is in the UK, why not expose more of it?
Is it because they only care about their own self interests? What is it about the Internet that politicians hate? Why do they want control over our lives? I don't understand it.
The main reason why nobody is talking about SOPA and PIPA? It's because News Networks like CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC that are in support of SOPA and PIPA are ignoring it:
This isn't surprising considering that there's a laundry list of other gaming companies like Capcom that support SOPA. As a matter of fact why don't they support the OPEN Act instead? It's less dangerous and draconian than SOPA is.
The only way to enact the Nationally Defense Authorization Act legally is if 2/3 of the people vote on it to make it an Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. If the government tries to enact the Nationally Defense Authorization Act without it being made an Amendment will be in violation of the Constitution.
Right now the ultimate law of the land (U.S. Supreme Court) says in Amendment IV that the government cannot search unreasonable and seizures your poetry without a warrant. Also Amendment V says No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia.
As for US citizens committing treason, according to Article III Section 3 of our Constitution says, "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
Congress shall have Power to declare Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted." This is how we are to treat people that commit treason. You still can't just arrest some one and in the case of treason, Congress is the judge that decides the punishment, not the courts. Still it requires witnesses like everything else.
So legally the government will not be able to enact parts of the Nationally Defense Authorization Act if the US citizens do not vote on it to make it an Amendment. I do want to know if the government chooses to break the law by violating the 4th and 5th Amendment and/or Article III Section 3, who arrests the government when they do?
Long live freedom and down with governmental slavery.
