Quizzical Storm — 2R Instant
Shuffle the stack. Quizzical Storm deals damage to target creature or player equal to the converted mana cost of the top spell. (Quizzical Storm is still on the stack) "Convoluted? Maybe. Funny? Totally." —Tokov, cloudmage prodigy
Cloud of Nightmares — 3BB Enchantment
As Cloud of Nightmares comes into play, remove your graveyard from the game in a face-up pile and shuffle that pile.
You may play the top card of the pile removed from the game with Cloud of Nightmares. (The top card of that pile changes as you play cards from it) "I saw the horrors that haunted me long ago, and they were, one by one, freeing themselves from the bottom of my mind, taking an unspeakable form and suffocating me."
—Azalaya, daughter of the sky
Earthsong Rhythm — 1G Sorcery
Search your library for a card and put it into play face-down. It is a land with "T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool". Then, shuffle your library.
Face of Courage — 1W Enchantment — Aura
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature's power is equal to its toughness. "The brave needs no sword, his bravery is a weapon by itself, serving both as the shield that keeps him from dying as well as the sword that triumphs for our righteous cause. This is the real test: show me if you're brave." —Razia
Cruel Receiver — 2WB
Creature — Human Minion
If a player would lose life, that player pays that much life instead. (Players can't pay more life than they have) "No. Not in coins."
2/2
False Equilibrium — XBB Instant
Destroy target creature if the difference between its power and its toughness is X or less. "You seek for balance between your body and your soul, mage? You'll find it in the grave, where both will lie dead." —The Dishonored
Nightmarish Intuition — BB Sorcery
Target opponent guesses seven times about the top card of your library. You may reveal that card. If you do, that player loses 1 life for each guess he or she guessed wrong.
Surrender to the Universe — 1UU Linked Instant (A linked card can be played as a copy of a linked card played this turn)
This turn, target player may play cards as copies of target instant or sorcery spell he or she controls. That player can only play cards this way this turn. "I've been shown that being in tune with the universe is no real gain, but a momentaneous one, bringing the false feeling of supremacy and understanding." —Ess the Stormcaller
Just a point - cards in graveyards can't have tokens.
They can perfectly. A counter is merely a marker that is placed on an object, and objects exist everywhere. That is why Lightning Storm works. You could even put a counter on combat damage if you wanted.
About power level, well, you would need to let Chosen of the Seasons die first. You need to pay 4G, find a way to let it die—I had a sacrifice engine in mind when I made it, that was why its mana cost wasn't something near to 2G—and then play the mana ability. That was why I prefered to keep it at 4G, since it is a reasonably high cost for such a powerful ability—it is basically a Channel of Suns that requires a higher payment at first [player: "Do I pay five mana to get a cheap mana boost after it dies?"]
Chosen of the Seasons — 4G Creature — Human Druid
When Chosen of the Seasons is put into a graveyard from play, put a seed counter on it. 1, Remove a seed counter from Chosen of the Seasons: Add WUBRG to your mana pool. Play this ability only if Chosen of the Seasons is in your graveyard. "May my death be celebrated by nature, for I became the seed from which another world will grow."
2/4
Unfair Negotiations — 1BB Sorcery
If you control a Swamp, you may pay 5 life rather than pay Unfair Negotiation's mana cost.
Target opponent reveals cards from his or her hand until he or she reveals a nonland card. Draw cards equal to that card's converted mana cost and lose that much life. "That is how greed works—you'll end taking what they offer, not what you want." —Crazael, avenger of ideals
Well, I tried to make him choose a nonland card from his or her hand and reveal it. I couldn't simply use "target opponent reveals a nonland card" because anyone could cheat with that [and, well, I didn't think of any other wording].
Embrace of Brilliance — W Enchantment — Aura
Flash
Enchant creature you control W: Enchanted creature gets +0/+1 until end of turn and blocks target creature attacking you. Hope's light finally manifested, and ten warriors united into one.
It blocks only if able [a.k.a. you can't force a Villainous Ogre to block because it can't block and "can't" always trumps "can".
Matsuko, Taken by Dishonor — 2BB Legendary Creature — Human Samurai
Bushido 2
Creatures you control get -1/-1 for each point of bushido among creatures you control. "There will be no betrayer like Matsuko—I saw his heart, and there, even the light of bushido is twisted into suffocating darkness." —Kenzo the Hardhearted
