Well, people can also base it off of the (admittedly small) info that we have on their overall themes. For me I picked Jeskai because it's the colors I identify with most. I'm going to be picking it come prerelease whatever they wind up doing, in the hopes of getting some more cards that fit my colors.

So, as my title said, I'm still somewhat unsure on what to do with my deck. Since it's a deck kind of based around what I have on hand, as opposed to a deck based on everything old/shiny, it's probably not as fine-tuned as it could be. I'm hoping to get some feedback on any glaring oversights or the like. I tried playing it against my boyfriend a bit one on one. I won 2/3, the 1/3 I lost was due to no way to answer Nicol Bolas once he was on the field, so it might not be an issue in multiplayer, it's hard to say. Anyways, rambling aside, here's my deck.

So, at this point, mostly I'm just hoping for any blatant oversights, or anything that seems kind of frivolous. There are definitely some odd choices in there, partially because I was worried about making the overall mana cost average being too high. I also tried to have as even a mixture of color as possible, to prevent mana issues. Most of the cards I pulled from some Duel Decks or my Commander 2013 deck, the rest are just a mixture of Return to Ravnica block and some Magic 2013/2014 I believe. I can definitely tell it's not the best, but for the relatively casual multiplayer games we have I'm hoping it is good. Still hoping to make it better if I can though. Sorry for being new to this and bothering people.

Glad and disappointed that Jeskai is so liked. Going to be annoying if I'm having to fight for it at the prerelease.

Thanks for that. I thought as much, which makes it really good to know.

I read through the rules, but it's likely I managed to skip it or something. In multiplayer games, can the same creature block in multiple combat rounds so long as it's not tapped? I assume it'd work for things like Aurelia too, but I'm asking due to multiplayer games primarily. Hopefully the question makes sense.

I'm sure we'll see some more wedge-related things. Maybe not a whole lot, but it should be enough to at least add a bit more diversity to things. I'm hoping we see a lot of the cycles from Alara show up there as well, I liked most of them.

On the subject of cycles, I'm looking forward to seeing more cycles like the Tempting Offer/Curse ones from the last game. They aren't a big thing, but I always liked them at least. Might be harder to do with only monocolor, but they could have the same number of cycles and just have them all be in one deck I suppose.

I feel surprisingly dense. When I read that I was very confused as to why Dingus Egg would be worth it. *shakes head*

And currently my deck is trying to run a more or less even mixture of the three colors. Kind of hard to tell what each of the cards is doing though in terms of the unified whole. It seems like it's very defensive/control, which fits how I do things. I'm just not sure if it's very good with what I have access to.

I've been playing Magic on and off for the last... three years now. Commander is probably the format that interests me most, but deck building seems very tricky, especially since I have a relatively limited pool of cards. I recently got Numot, since it's the three colors I like most. However, I'm not really sure what I have access to that would work well in Commander. I have a few duel decks (Sorin vs. Tibalt, Izzet vs. Golgari, Venser vs. Koth, Ajani vs. Nicol Bolas), as well as the UWG Commander 2013 deck, but that's about the limit I'd have to older cards, everything else I have would be from Return to Ravnica or Theros pretty much.

That being said, mostly I'm just hoping to be directed towards any cards (especially from the premade decks) that might be really good as a general rule. I realize it's kind of a broad question, and that it likely depends on a lot of other things. If it helps, this deck isn't really going to be going up against very strong decks either. I'm just mostly looking for a little direction to hopefully get the ball rolling better. I'm just wanting to make sure I don't miss any must haves at least.

Poor Abzan and Mardu. I know it's not representative of the whole of the Magic community, but it's kind of sad the other three tribes all have three times the amount of votes (at least currently). I wonder how many people are voting based off of how the tribes look, and how many people are voting based off of the color combination, or some other factor like playstyle of the tribes.

Personally, I think that the theme of the second block is going to be unrelated to wedges by a pretty large amount. It seems really strange for them to go from wedges to shards. Of course, I also just kind of hope they don't do that, so I'm not really being unbiased. But I get the feeling that they just would have done a full wedge block then if that was what they were going to do. The third set will probably tie into what comes after Khans block, at least that's what I'm guessing. It makes it hard to guess the third set though. I am hoping for a Jeskai Planeswalker a lot, also agree with the people saying Sarkhan is likely monored, seems likely.

Abzan House sounds more like how I tend to play, since I'm really good with control. But I'm not a huge fan of Black or Green, and even if White is the primary color it still kind of bugs me.

Jeskai Way is what I voted for, but I'm not entirely sure if it'll match how I play. I suppose I'll see as it comes closer to release, but combat tricks doesn't sound like me particularly. However, it has the three color combination I self-identify as(and quizzes identify me as too), so I'm going to be trying this out pre-release. Hoping to get more tricolor stuff at least.

Sultai Brood (I read it as Sulky Brood sometimes, which is kind of amusing) seems to continue the trend. Color combination I'm not a fan of, but resource management sounds like it'd be interesting at the very least. I'm wondering how they turned it into a full deck idea. I could be misremembering what the theme they have is though.

Mardu Horde has another combination of colors I like, but no idea if I'd like the really aggro playstyle they have. Still might be interesting to play against, this seems like what my boyfriend is going to go for.

Temur Frontier disappoints me. I like the idea of the color combination, but how it turned out here doesn't interest me much. It's just one way to represent the trio of colors though, so it isn't a big deal.
