I'm pretty sure we'll see them again story-wise, much like Mr. Bolas. However, I don't know if we'll see them in future sets, because Eldrazi support would take up alot of card space.
Odds are they probably cut card #7 late in development and It That Betrays was probably a hole-filler, and they didn't have enough time to come up with a better name to fit after K. I think this may have happened before, but I could be wrong.
Yeah, I don't think Vengevine is going to actually be played in Jund, but it could be, especially if players start running Bit Blast to hate Wall of Omens.
Inquisition of Kozilek (over Duress) and Consume the Meek in the SB are the only "OBV" changes I see, but options do exist.
Flame Slash can go along with Deathmark if Wall of Omens actually becomes a problem, Momentous Fall and Sarkhan the Mad offer some interesting (if hard to evaluate) CA options, and it can also play Vengevine itself (cascading into any creature will bring it back). Most likely they will just tweak the MD "floaters" (Garruk, SCG, Borderland Ranger, MotWH, etc.) and stay on top.
Also, Jund can just play Vengevine and cascade into BBEs and Leeches like like a champ.
With the addition of Consume the Meek and Inquisition of Kozilek, Jund should be able to handle the rest of the G/W/x decks, arguably better than they do now.
I'm really just curious as to whether Momentous Fall or Sarkhan the Mad will be playable in Jund or not.
IIRC, didn't Aaron Forsythe send out a tweet saying that RoE is actually 249 cards, and the number on Kozilek (the only card we had at the time) was a misprint? If not, my bad, but right now I'm thinking that there will be a "secret" foil.
I wonder of this means they will be continuing Traps? Either a token-making trap, or "evolving" the mechanic by adding it to creatures (though it wouldn't work with anything like trapmaker's snare).
Odds are its probably just a kooky spell, maybe something like saccing a bunch of creatures or giving an opponent a ton of life.
Well, according to the novels, Slobad gave up his spark to keep Mirrodin alive. Maybe now that the mending has seriously reduced the power of PWs, his spark can't support an entire plane, hence "the corrosion begins." Not sure how they would go about actually saving the plane, but it seems like a logical conflict to start with.
I'm torn as to weather Emeria (Emirion?) is the Mushroom-head Eldrazi or the third titan in the image with Sorin and Nissa. It makes so much sense for it to be the one in the promo pic, but mushroom-head is so large I can't imagine it not being a "god." Either way, I can't wait!
I fogot Jace could unsummon him as I was only looking at permanent removal, but I think the added value of being able to take their Duress/Hunt/Bolt and the ability to get around Nighthawk and opposing Jwar Jwar Sphinxes is a fair trade-off with the ability to be unsummoned when compared directly with the Sphinx. For me it is still worth testing at this point.
although the clock would be a pretty appealing win con if the "archenemy" life total scales with the number of opponents.

not really, it just suggests that he used to be a Planeswalker.
At this point, I'm just going to say I think it is unlikely, but possible.
EDIT: Nath'd
is a joke
Eldrazi's Ire? 7
Tribal Sorcery - Eldrazi
CARDNAME deals 5 damage divided as you choose among any muber of target creatures or players
Being able to divide the damage might be too strong, but I could see it as a rare.
Maybe the fourth will bounce permantents, IDK.

Which is why I have him in the sideboard. How often do you leave Terminates MD Game 2 in the mirror? Because I don't.
