chancellor of the spires" target="blank">chancellor of the spires Comes in, casts Rite from your opponents graveyard. Target your chancellor of the spires. Rite resolves. Goes into the graveyard as part of spell resolution. Token chancellor of the spires triggers - Target the Rite again. Repeat untill you want to stop.

    The Question:
    In play I have:
    Circle of Protection: Red
    Circle of Protection: White
    Furnace of Rath
    Opalescence
    + a bunch of land

Opponent has 7 random creatures and land ect. (land and ect doesnt matter here)

Can I activate the COP:Red on my Furnace, and the the COP:White on the COP:Red, COP:White, and Opalescence.

Then Cast Mirrorweave turning all creatures into Furnace of Rath (animated from Opalescence)

Lastly Cast Aura Barbs which due to to the now 10x Furnace of Rath in play, each enchantment does 4096 damage to it's controller.

Will my Circle of protection White Activations save me from my Former White enchantments (both COPs) that are now red Furnace of Rath's from hitting me for massive damage. Or Would the color shift to red cause the ability to fail.

I hope somehow this involves Baron Sengir Escaped Homelands and came to be here.
Looks like it could be a Dark gothic type set, so The Baron fits in Grin

Well, uh, yeah, style wise they are very similar. That is also what people were talking about. Art in magic currently has to be very epic all the time, which makes for great cards, but it does get boring.

Remember how much following the art for silverskin armor got when the art was spoiled? It is something different which made people love it. They should do stuff like that more often, especially more into the two-dimensional stuff for spells. Magic cards are still two dimensional, after all. They have to keep evolving the art styles or people will get bored with everything, period. That is also why I like the digitial-esque feel of the new Urabrask, the Hidden art. True 3 dimensional digital art should be added more in the mirrodin block, the perfect oppurtunity to try some of it.

Swanland is an extremely good artist which is why he gets to do such mythics, but they should dose it. Less is more, and his art will be more appreciated if there is some more differentiation to constrast it. Guay's art is a good way to do this, its very distinct, but more artists like that are needed.

I Agree, A lot of the newer cards look rather generic.
I miss the old old days where some commons had 4 sets of art Grin

And when RKF had a lot more artwork on cards then he does now.

    Also
    Dance of the Dead
still has the best art ever Grin

The deck Im building is also gonna use Bronze Bombshell

Infect the bombshell, toss it over with Bazaar Trader
If you have backlash, backlash in response to the trigger that would have them sac it (4-7 Poision depending on how I give it infect) then the sac trigger happens for 7 more Poison.

ya its dumb but it will be funny

    Artisan of Kozilek
    Tainted Strike
    Bazaar Trader
    Backlash

Or worse Combo Ever. You Decide Grin

    Step 1:
Tainted Strike on Artisan of Kozilek

    Step 2:
Bazaar Trader Artisan of Kozilek to your opponent

    Step 3:
Backlash on Artisan of Kozilek for 11 Poision and the win Grin

    From Gatherer of lich's mirror

"If you control *but don't own* Lich's Mirror, Lich's Mirror itself will still be on the battlefield after its effect is finished. If you would lose the game again for any of the reasons above, Lich's Mirror has its effect again . . . and again . . . and again. An involuntary infinite loop will be created, and the game will end in a draw. (In the case of the triggered ability example given last in the list above, it's possible that a player could cause the loop to end while the ability is on the stack. None of the loops caused by state-based actions can be stopped at all.)"

Thus would indeed cause a involuntary infinite loop and the game will end in a draw

    Quote from Hoodoo
It wouldn't interact at all, because Knowledge Pool only triggers when a spell is cast from the hand. Flashback is never cast from the hand, it's cast from the graveyard. No interaction.

Thanks, I feel a little dumb. I normally don't miss stuff like that. Smile

I am pretty sure I already know the answer to this question I just want to be sure.

    Tags:
    Knowledge Pool
    Krosan Reclamation (any flashback card)

If I where to flashback a card with knowledge pool out, would the knowledge pool exile effect be overridden by the flashbacks rule of: "exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack."

I'm thinking it does and knowledge pool won't get to remove it, but hoping there is a way around it Grin

Went 4-1 with an infectless Phyrexian Deck (well 1 infect card, they infect myr that taps for 1)
The biggest creature in my deck was a 3/3

Im supprised it did so well

Lost to an infect deck that ran the black sun

Pulled a foil Darksteel Plate which saved me a few games
Bonehord won quite a few games as well.

The Vedalken Anatomist" target="blank">Vedalken Anatomist was my best pull.

Bouncing Beebles was the fist card I ever went after, was going to back a deck with them. came up short at 52 of em.
40 or so Lightning Bolt including 2 beta and 1 alpha - I would really like 1 more beta one and a few foil ones.
around 40 llanowar elves as well, 1 beta. 1 Foil(10th)

And I haven no idea why, but I have 25 Whirlpool Warrior

I have a good number of Balance 11 i think now, not really enough to say I collect them. I just dont want other people to play it against me :p

Working slowly on getting all the Orginal duelands and new ravnica Duellands
Slow process as they are damn expensive. B/ eludes me the most.

  • posted a message on Permanets Leaving Play?
I know the question has already been answered, It should be noted that this also applies to Tokens created by the no longer in the game player including tokens put into play directly under somone elses control IE with Pongify

So If Im in a multiplayer game, I pognify your creature you would get a 3/3 ape token wich you control but I own. So when you kill me with it next turn it leaves the game when I do.
