What is the least amount of cards you can have in a deck?? All I had was an older rule book to learn by and now my school has blocked wizards.com so I can't check there. Assistance would be appreciatied.
Since you aren't restricted to standard, I highly suggest Overrun as a finisher. Also, take out some of the more useless cards like Weatherseed Elf
Since you already have a small elf theme going on, I suggest adding in 4 Llanowar Elves for mana production.
I agree whole heartedly with the Llaonwar Elves and overrun but why weatherseed??? He serves as a nice 1st turn play as well as an extremely useful advantage versus green decks. If I play fists of iron wood on him in my second turn most of the time I get 3 to 6 open damage on that turn and the next. If I paly the scion that damage is expontentially increased.
Sounds like a plan I'm used to using it to bolster my token count so why shouldn't I bolster my life total at the same time? But one question, I set this deck up to use combos but not need them to be powerful so do you think that same idea would work in this perspective as well?
Thanks for the advice. Craven there are so many singles in there because they all serve an overall porpose that invlolves different strategys that sets the opponent off guard. Take for example the lonely guild mage. Lets say I have 5 maybe six tokens on the field, 6 lands and I'm killing off my enemys forces with a siege wurm. Opponent plays dark banishing on my siege wurm than summens a bunch of 1/1 weenies. My turn I draw selesnya guild mage I play it tap 4 mana give my tokens +1 +1 and attack. I have just Comepletely thrown my oppenent off.
Also could you explain why the honden is useless??
The dimir deck doesnt have enough focus, I suggest you limit your legendarys to 2 each. Transmute is not that useful in this deck. Why not just have the real cards themselves?
I never said that they weren't good articles but personnally I think it rude to advocate an insult in a serious manner with no data to back it up.
To be honest I have studied some magic theory but it isn't all theory in a scientific sense. It is much more similar to a hypothesis than an accepted fact. I find that without expiramentation much "theory" lacks grounds.
And thats a great avatar nan.
