When Birchstrike Sentinel comes into play, if an opponent played a creature spell this turn, draw a card. Tresspassers avoid the Birchstrike clan's territory, where sentinels are stationed in each cluster of trees.

I'm sorry i wasn't so clear. This and Dovescape both in play, and then anyone plays a noncreature spell. What happens is you get the tokens and Dovescpae keeps on countering the spell while Guile reccurs it infinitely.
To everyone that says these should be uncommon, wait and see what the rest of the set looks like. It just tells me that tribal strategies wont only be viable, but very good.
Yes, yes he can be killed by many kill cards in t2, but if you drop him, you can delay your opponent while you find a troll ascetic, saffi, or loxodon warhammer until your opponent finally find his slaughter pact etc.
Mind you, with R/g Gargadon, amongst many other red based burn decks about to run rampant on t2, it probably won't warrant being maindecked.
Chandra looks great . She can even be a 5 mana goyf/ teferi killer at worst. Sudden Shock and Sudden Death will be played heavily when LOR comes out, and Gaddock is just the first evidence we'll see of this. There's much more where Gaddok Teeq came from as far as "you better kill me or you lose" creatures in a tribal set.
I would bank on the mirage-cycle reprints being guildmages.
Creature- Elf
As long as an opponent controls an artifact or enchantment, spells you control can't be countered.
Sacrifice Guardian of Serenity: Destroy target artifact or enchantment.
I personally don't think it's fair to compare hierarch to brion straight-up.
They are cards that will be used for two completely different purposes.
Heirarch's lifegain is guaranteed, and it has no evasion, so it is by default a more defensive card than offensive. Whereas Brion's ability, which is offensive and is comparable to it have evasion, is more important than the lifegain (although lifelink is still great). As mentioned many times before, this will be used in Gargadon/Aggro decks or even a midrange aggro deck, but not a control deck like Hierarch was used in rock-style decks.
Good luck all!
Zoglor the Cursed :1mana::symb::symr:
Planeswalker- Zoglor (R)
+1 Each player discards a card and loses 2 life.
+3 Take another turn after this one. At the end of that turn, you lose 15 life.
-5 Target player discards his or her hand, then you draw that many cards.
Loyalty: 3
good luck!
