Interesting thought. Let's say Zurgo is my commander. I play him on turn one and he dies at some point. Can I dash him from the command zone to get around paying the 2 additional mana to recast him?
I am certainly not as well versed in political workings as some of you, but what I understand to be one of the biggest issues is that there is no accountability of the people we put in office. Once someone is elected, they are thrown into these generic groupings of "Congress", "The Senate", or "The House". Who knows (except a small handful of people who are highly invested) what your local representative is doing on the floor. They may claim to run on a specific stance, but in actuality, they may be sitting around, counting their dollar bills all day.
And it is our fault for this too. If you were hired to fix cars all day, but your boss was never at work and never knew how many cars needed fixing, wouldn't you sit around and get paid? Maybe I don't understand it enough, but it seems to me that increasing transparency would be a big step to helping to fix our troubles.
I know that the packaging is key, but there ares still some games that will fetch a non-insignificant sum of money with just the cartridge. I don't need to flip the stuff for $300 a game, $20 a game will do just fine if I can find the right games!
Hey all. I've recently graduated university and I am starting to get strapped for cash. However, Is till have some post-graduate certifications to take, before I can start looking for jobs. While I have picked up a part time job delivering food, I was thinking about flipping old video games and systems on eBay. There's one problem though.
I have no idea what to look for.
As of now, I don't have a ton of start-up capital, so I can't just buy in bulk. I need to be selective and find some gems to start with to flip quickly. Does anyone know of any valuable games (not thousands but between 50-100) that one would be more likely to find at a tag sale? I know that there are some N64 games and SNES games that have gone up in value over time. Any leads?
Think of it like this: The sphere affects say "Hey! Make sure you pay us 1 more mana!". Next, the Trinisphere says "Did you pay 3? Good enough for me, I don't care how you payed it. No? Well then add more mana until you reach 3".
Speaking of sleeves, Wizards first produced official sleeves back in 2007. They were black backs with yellowish writing of "Magic: the Gathering" written on them. I found a picture of them, but if anyone knows a place that has any amount of sealed product of these sleeves, could you let me know? They were one of my favorite sleeves to use.
That's what I figured, GerMagic, but I wasn't sure. I would hate to put in the effort of building/buying a new PC only to find out it wasn't powerful enough.
I'm looking to get into streaming, but I haven't found a good place that will tell me what I should reasonably expect to be able to stream MTGO. I am building a PC from scratch, but I don't want to invest a ton of money into a machine that doesn't need that much power. Most other sites talk about streaming games that are very face paced and require very powerful video cards, something I know MTGO doesn't need.
One thought I have had is cutting white for U/B for Tezzeret. I haven't done any testing with this, but it might not be bad. You really only lose Tempered Steel. You still get Steel Overseer, in addition to a sick finisher. Tezzeret can done your opponent for a bunch, dig to find you more creatures and turn boring old Mox Opals into 5/5's.
Revoker is good against PW's, creatures with activated abilities like Mystic, the equipment it finds, man lands, the quests that see play. It is just a very effective and versatile card.
Pretty straight forward aggressive strategy. Play lots of big guys with minimal disruption to stay ahead. Lashwrithe is a pretty good card, turning your early evasive drops (Vampire Nighthawk and Vault Skirge) into big flying kill cons. It also functions as a 4 drop Nightmare, which is pretty good in it's own right.
Other possible cards:
Vampire Lacerator: More aggressive, but has the problem of not flying, and being a dead card late in the game. Gets blocked by walls and such. The Vault Skirge just has better synergy with the deck.
Molten-tail Masticore: I like this guy a lot. We play a ton of creatures which are sure to die at some point or another. Also gives us a way to finish the game.
Morbid Plunder: Another source of card advantage. Most of our disruptive creatures (Hex Parasite and Phyrexian Revoker) are fragile. This will help shore up this problem.
Pierce Strider: Maybe not so much, but it is an artifact creature, which means Go for the Throat will not kill it. It also deals three upon coming into play, so it is not terrible in the late game. This card does have a ton of competition for the 4 drop slot, so it probably won't get the nod.
Malakir Bloodwitch: A 5 drop, so it is a little pricey, but great against the blue and white decks that seem to be dominating.
