is puddle flips roleblocker, Teia gets the game tomorrow whether she targets me or Necarg

And if he doesn't, I get to try to figure out which of you two is scum.

Hence why having the input of an additional townie can be quite useful.

If I survive that should mean Teia also survives, in that case we will know the last scum regardless of any other shenanigans. [/quote]

Dude. If Limited's a roleblocker, that means my lie detector ability basically turns me into a cop. That means the second scum has to try to shoot me. That's why you bodyguard me so I can win in that scenario. There's no chance the second scum shoots a VT claim, so we can at least ensure I can read someone's alignment unmolested.

Teia based on my role I'm very likely dead during the night. I'd like you to vote for gaymers if you get the chance. I think Ronin hasn't given enough to go off of and if he wins based on inactivity it's not much to be proud of. If you can use PR to get more info go for it. But I want gaymers next as I'm likely not making it through the night.

Dude. If Limited flips roleblocker, all you have to do is bodyguard me and we win.

The final day will be me plus the two VT claims.

I will know one of their alignments for certain.

    Game, set, and match.

Nothing else to say? Cat got your tongue? Can't think of anything in the light of a potentially solved game and/or thoughts on who the second scum may be?

Oh yeah, and get that ******* vote off Gaymers. We're not lynching anyone but Limited today.

    Limited is scum.

    I'm lie detector.

    EDH is bodyguard.

    Gaymers is VT.

    Ronin is VT.

Those are the claims. If Limited is the roleblocker, EDH just bodyguards me (since then there's nothing to stop me copping a *****) and we win off lie detecting one of the VT claims. If not, well, ***** gets interesting.

Not gonna vote Limited quite yet because I wanna see if I can rummage out his buddy in case he's the goon. I'm thinking Ronin, myself. Scum just can't resist lurking through a game while others are taking suspicion, now can they?

All right. I'm town lie detector. Targeted Flamingo N1 and EDH N2. Roleblocked both times. Breadcrumbed here for the astute.

"Why didn't you counterclaim Limited yesterday, then?"

***** please, last game had both a tracker and a watcher. Who knows what the **** they might've pulled this time.

    Ronin, you're next.

    Hide scum threads.

    Ignore scum posts.

Do not reply to scum posters.

(For those slow on the uptake: Don't bother reading or replying to anything Limited says. It's not worth it and he'll just attempt to sow whatever confusion he can. Seriously, unlike Iso's wall of text I tl;dr'd, I'm actually not reading anything Limited says.)

I was moving along the game to either lynch scum or confirm someone else as scum.

Dude you what. Like, seriously, you what.

"I was going to do what was going to happen anyway no matter what."

    Okay, sure, whatever, dude.

I think Gaymers is scum and this isn't a new theory. If you look back at my response to them when they asked a few days ago "what is your read on us"? I said they looked like scum based on their play pattern. It's been confirmed. In some world limited could be scum but if he's scum then we are going to lose. If he flips scum then people want to vote against me. I am town bodyguard. So I think sadly regardless of limited's role we lose if we lynch him (at least for now) we could roll the dice on the next day if we feel we have no other choice.

    VOTE: GAYMERS

So there's one PR claim. Shame you're voting someone other than the 100% confirmed scum.

**** it, we should just massclaim at this rate. Granted, it's just Gaymers, Ronin, and me left for claims, but hey.

Popcorn style if y'all'll have it, which you should, because holy **** do we need us some confirmed townies and no room for scum falseclaims. Gaymers, you're the one pulling the tautologies around here, so you should go first.

V/LA for the next day or two. Will vote Limited when I get back because **** quicklynching him without scumhunting his buddy first.

Necarg better ******* explain that hammer, too. Iso was flailing like a textbook case of caught scum but we could've still gotten, you know, analysis on who the other scum is and ***** instead of just "lol I want this day to end, goin' for mah gameplan like a baller baller."

Funny, because you were in one of the first games I solved on Day 1. dot dot dot And I can cite several more. If anybody is behaving arrogantly, it's you, and because of that, I'm doing my damndest to get under your skin. Sure, I wasn't right on Day 1 in this game. That doesn't mean I'm not right now. And considering I know my role and you clearly don't, well, it stands to reason that I know I'm right, and that you're wrong. Period.

    Cool story, scumbro.

    Well, let's see.

Iso, Rhand, Generic, and DCIII all know that [Family] is town.

[Family] have all been scumreading [Limited] from Day 1.

[Limited] has claimed that [Family] has a PR. Because [Family] does not have a PR, [Family] knows that [Limited] is lying. Because [Limited] was using this as a basis on which to push [Family] before [Family] claimed, that means that [Limited] was not scumhunting, but rather, that they intended to lie about this from the start. Because [Limited] as town has absolutely no reason to out a possibly townPR[Family], there is an apparent disconnect in [Limited]'s mindset with how they went about this scenario. Ergo, [Limited] decided to push this angle as a scum ploy rather than as town-motivated behavior.

    Cool story, scumbro.

Would you like me to rehash the entire rest of the case against Limited or is the fact that Puddlejumper is clearly not approaching this from a town mindset enough for you?

    Please do.

I mean, we're the Mafia clan. Obviously we're thinking critically about the game, whether we're town or not. Seeing as we have all come to the same conclusion, as well as the other two clans that are voting Limited, it stands to reason that you are the one not thinking about the game critically.

    Cool story, scumbro.

What does this even mean? I swear you're not even reading my posts.

    Cool story, scumbro.

Please, enlighten me: What is so blatantly anti-town about my behavior? What is so selfish about my reasoning? How do you reconcile the fact that 4 of the most well-renowned Mafia players on this site are, according to you, so horribly incorrect?

    Cool story, scumbro.

Perhaps this is beyond the scope of your deductive abilities, but did you consider that the town's information role may not have wanted to out themselves with a direct counterclaim, instead choosing to stay alive by simply voting Limited over us, whether that happens to be Ronin (who hasn't posted in a while, so we don't know if they're interested in hammering Limited or not) or Gaymers? I mean, I understand that you're an emotional player, but if you pride yourself on your debate skills, you should really leave that at the door. As someone who regularly implodes, I recognize that I would be a much better player if I didn't have rage-filled meltdowns when people are doing dumb ***** in Mafia. Am I being a general jackass right now? Absolutely. Do you know why? Because you're ignoring the facts and logic of my posts and simply "no u"ing me, choosing to respond emotionally instead of logically and not actually rebutting anything that I say. Step up your game, Teia. Please.

    Cool story, scumbro.

I would love for you to show me where you've done this, at all, ever, in the entire history of this game.

    Cool story, scumbro.

Because having to get prodded in Mafia is rude.

    ~Iso

And unbounded arrogance isn't? Especially when you're wrong so much while being completely blind to the fact that your vaunted day 1 game solving is, from the games I've seen, pretty much never accurate? Especially when you seem to think "critical thinking" means "must arrive at the same conclusions as Iso"? But sure, keep drawing attention to the fact that you're acting like a good little townie by saying VT counterclaims a PR role. And in the outside chance you are town despite your blatant anti-town behaviour, try applying less selfish reasoning that only makes you look scummy in the future, mmkay?

For everyone else, you should reevaluate why you agree with Iso that behaviour trumps an un-counterclaimed PR, especially when there are presumably, what, two town PRs and I haven't seen a counterclaim from either. That should indicate something, shouldn't it? Maybe I'm just crazy or something but I'd think a stronger counterclaim than "lol I'm VT that means you're 100% absolutely proven scrum" would've come out of the woodwork if it meant lynching scum.

Maybe instead of looking at the facts of the situation and figuring out the motives behind why things do and don't happen, I should work on making wild-ass guesses on the first days of these games so I can have unassailable town cred too. Frown

***** please. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, and I'll stand by it. The **** do I need to backpedal for? (Or wait, you said back peddle, so I could start selling backs I guess.) Lynching the dudes who insist a VT claim should supersede an un-counterclaimed PR and then start spewing FUD when they realize the fish aren't biting? The dudes who keep dodging the points I brought up with the most selective reading and repeat-my-assertion non-answers you'll find outside politics?

I see your money, but it's not where your mouth is.
