I'm guessing since it's named Planar Chaos, and from the fact that it is supposed to deal with the "present", the set is about revisiting mechanics from the three non-Dominarian planes in the MTG universe: Mirrodin, Kamigawa, Ravnica. As for FS, who knows what the future holds...
Also I would see the champion at work instead of the palladin. I like to see utility creatures that are somehow playable.
EDIT: Why does everyone view this vote on a powerlevel basis? I don't believe it's about power, but of fun!
I was referring to the Pontiff's comes into play ability.
I copypasted and highlighted the Pontiff's relevant ability from gatherer:
"When Orzhov Pontiff comes into play or the creature it haunts is put into a graveyard, choose one — creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn; or creatures you don’t control get -1/-1 until end of turn."
I more or less play regularly in FNMs. I voted for the Paladin. My main reason for doing so is that the Paladin's 2 power gives it the significant edge over the Auriok. In any aggro deck, this spells a world of difference. Plus, Orzhov Pontiff will rape the Auriok Champion.
"The Izzet have their own theory, one that few pay attention to and even fewer take seriously: the source of the world's spiritual troubles lies in another world entirely, in some flaw in the very fabric of time and space itself. But the nature of the flaw, and how it can be fixed (if it can be fixed at all) is a question they have yet to answer."
i got a gaint growth and a crappy ravnica common.....wth....
Are you referring to Guardian of Vitu-Ghazi? I read somewhere over at the message boards at mtg.com that this also happened to other rewards members. Apparently, it's some sort of error...:-/
I think they're trying to do cards that are easy to remember, thus Giant Growth. IMO, they could've used a tourney staple like, Reclaim or Rampant Growth. At least they did Putrefy. Yay!
1. I've been playing casual for 10 years. Started playing FNMs 2 years ago.
2. I don't really keep track, and I'm afraid to know...
3. The last Hasbro product I bought was a G.I. Joe action figure. That was a million years ago...

I think they're foreshadowing Time Spiral here.
I don't think so. Here's to hoping they do it next shipping!
