If you want to make small creatures and abuse Landfall, might I suggest Emeria Angel.

I would agree with not putting in the Lotus Cobra for two reasons. First there is already a fair amount of ramp in the deck already before the cobra. Second, the cobra reads "I die with the smallest kill spell", so it just becomes dead space in the deck. The last thing is it only ramps by one turn and you will mostly likely harrow at the end of your opponents turn so the extra mana is useless.

ryanhayes69 I was looking at your Baneslayers and I guess my main question is unless you have them already them would seem a little expensive to get 4 of them, so have you thought of alternatives that could take there place? I do not know if money is an issue but I just wanted to know.

I will build a mill deck with and without traumatize, then play test them. I will get back to you in a couple of days hopefully. I do have finals so I warn you it might be awhile before I get back to you. One last thing the Covenant rocks.

I agree with how you feel here it truly deserves a OMG maybe more. Here is my argument however, my friend loves to run mill decks so I know what its like to play agianst mill. I have made a mill deck or two of my own but they are nothing compared to what he comes up with. The scariest part about his mill decks is not the milling but the speed at which he does it. He has used traumatize but here is the issue it can really slow you down at turn 5. Turn 5 is sometimes the make or break point of a good mill deck especially if you are playing some form of aggro.

I now its not as good as traumatize in terms of milling but Jace gives you a good way to keep your hand full of other milling cards. Besides you are already running Mind Funeral this card can act like a traumatize. The last reason for not using traumatize as you said half of there deck takes a trip to you opponents graveyard. Half here is the key word. If you play traumatize and they have 30 in there library it goes down to 15, with 20 its down to 10, and so on. The Mind funeral could cause more damage to there library since it triggers off lands.

The drowner I do not have really that much to say about it other then its a mana heavy card.

This not really a card I could see fitting into your deck since well the cost is double U but its kind of nice for some control Grimoire Thief.

Hi I need a new banner and avatar since mine are so old the shops are no longer open. For the banner I would like it to be 600x100 with a Stoic Angel on the left, a Naya Charm in the center, and another Stoic Angel on the right side but flip so the it is facing the other angel. The last piece for the banner can you add the text "Stalling? Maybe". For the Avatar I would like Horde of Notions then text flashing "Who is your genreal?". Thank you.

I like the deck idea. I have one question about the traumatize and Drowner initiate, why? I see the of having them value in the deck but they can really slow down the tempo. I might throw a little more card draw in so you could get the Covenant into your hand sooner.

I also have to go with the Zealous Persecution or Sigil Captain.

As much as I like to see the Covenant played in a standard deck I do not think it is going to happen. I will agree with jdinatale that it will get played in casual and limited.

On a side note you could build a deck that runs something along the lines of Lich Lord of Unx Kathari Remnant Enigma Sphinx, and whatever else will make it run. Then throw the Covenant into the so if push comes to shove you target yourself as stated by RpishNameGoesHere.

There is on problem I see most angles are late game type creatures due to there size and abilities. Its not an angle but Beacon Hawk might help in some early on problems that one encounters with no real creatures out.

Feuderdrache that could be very true. However with people like Faerie Lord dancing around it is very unlikely.
@ Faerie Lord: Im not emo! How many magic players do you know that are emo. I ask this because I know none that r emo.
Spanglegluppet just because we are nerds doesn't mean we can't find a girlfriend.
