I play jund a lot of time and rock seems a little easier to play than jund because your mana is less complex, i played death shadow only during some short test session and it seems really hard to play and optimize all your choices so i think BGX if far easier to play than death shadow (death shadow is 9/10 and BGX 6/10 for me). For big mana or combo deck, it just depend of what do you like aha ! I am a fan of vizier postmortem combo and it's very easy to play.
I don't know, I'm leaning towards tron. (f*** tron I know). I mean it's resilient and easy to play. Don't know if it's a good choice or not. Is it any fun to play?
I have GDS built and am looking for another deck that's good in a meta where GDS isn't. I also have Burn almost fully built just to have as a secondary deck on days where I'm tired and want games to be quick.
Any ideas? I enjoy tempo decks.
Izzet Phoenix? You already have the manabase and a lot of the key cards.

Is Mardu pyromancer still a deck? Thinking of building that one when the meta is unfavored towards my death shadow. Or will it have the same bad matchups as shadow does?
I'm currently been eyeing ponza a lot, it seems like a fun deck to play.
I have a few questions, it'd be great if anyone could help me.
1. What, overall is this deck's tier?
2. Is it a hard deck to play and master?
I currently live very far from my LGS, I watch modern streams and am very interested in playing a bit more, so I need a deck that I can do decently well and maybe go to an FNM every 2-3 weeks and do decently with it. I don't expect to win 100 player tournaments but a prize in an FNM here and there would be great.
I algo need the deck to be good against burn as it's very prevalent in my meta, there are also some humans and company decks.
While I'm not an avid Modern player at all, it seems that Mission Briefing would be a good fit for the deck. Its Surveil 2 seems to be useful in pushing past potential land clumps while also giving you an additional Snappy effect. The double blue shouldn't be too much of a problem in this deck and being able to have more functional copies of the various Bolt effects run in the maindeck while also being able to trigger Prowess with the Briefing seems really strong.
Mission Briefing works well in my Delver deck. Since I don't have the cold cash to buy me a fullclip of Snapcaster Mage, I find this as a reasonable substitute. It definitely saves you from any dead draw next turn (or when you cantrip), and it feeds Bedlam Reveler. I also surveil-discard Risk Factor as I can just jump-start it on a later turn.
I haven't tested Mission Briefing in my UR Aggro Prowess (with Adeliz, the Cinder Wind and her wizard & monk friends), but now that you mentioned it, I will definitely try it out. Thanks!

I don't have a lot of free time to put in some reps and I'm having a rough time with GDS.
Or would I rather play a big mana or combo deck? Are any of those fun?
I'm kinda scared it's more a flavor of the month and that the TiTi and phoenixes will drop in price, same for the manamorphose.
Any ideas? I enjoy tempo decks.
Should I be looking at burn or combo decks?
How is it's game against burn and aggro matchups such as humans, elves.
Is it an easy deck to learn and master? I can't go to many fnm's per month.
