Well, leyline of sanctity is the obvious mirror crusher, and it's in our colors, and it hoses other decks too like burn/abzan/jund. I suppose whether you want to run it is the question over other options and that's probably a meta call.

Has anyone tested lost legacy? Seems like an on color and cheaper option to slaughter games. Potential sideboard material. I suppose the draw option isn't great, but if we remove something that's a showstopper like karn or mindslaver...

Something I'm fooling with is replacing dismember in the side with psionic blast. Yes, I know it does one less damage. Yes, I know it costs more. Something it does give is some versatility though, 4 points of reach to the face is a rarity for blue. So far mixed results. A huge surprise when it comes down though.

Seems like I found a bad matchup where bridges were needed: Nahiri Control

So, Nahiri is new enough that we don't have a whole lot of data. The two builds I've seen the most of Nahiri is jeskai control and rg oath ramp. In some respects it's fair to ignore her, she loots but doesn't gain cards in hand, none of our artifacts tap for her to wreck. But her summons of emrakul or prime time/valakut is a killer if you don't have a way to deal. So ensnaring bridge and pithing needle are the two best ways to handle her.

I suppose if she becomes very prevalent you could consider adding something like vampire hexmage or hero's downfall.

Travis Woo has a series of vids on youtube called dredge swarm that is close to the vengevine list, if you want to see how it works.

I like bridge main along with targetted removal rather than smallpox. Trading a card and a land for a spirit token feels bad, when I could be doing something that doesn't set me back. My deck isn't optimized for smallpox though. I'd probably run BW with flagstones and white sideboarding tools.

Thanks for the feedback, was just curious with the shift in the meta if anything has changed...the meta I last played had both Twin and Birthing Pod in it. During that time, I ran a bridge version with no smallpox, however, I've encountered issues where I drop a bridge turn 3 yet it'd already be too late because I still had about 2-3 cards on average in hand where creatures likes Goblin Guide, Monastery Swiftspear, Delver, etc. could still attack for close to lethal; then finish off with some burn damage. I saw some recent decklists where smallpox was included and was curious if this was now a must have in maindeck.

Smallpox is a divisive card. Some people here love it because it can be a total bomb. Others don't like it because it deprives 8rack of something it already lacks, any sort of card advantage. If you build your deck around smallpox you can turn it more one sided, but it takes some tuning. Personally I'm not a fan, preferring bridges main and pack rats in the side. But I've used smallpox in other decks and it can be a game changer. Not in my 8rack deck, but elsewhere.

Quick question: Can Spellskite nullify (redirect?) Liliana's abilities? I was playing against a guy who had a Spellskite out while I had a Lily out and each time I +1 Lily he said he didn't have to discard a card because of Spellskite. I was skeptical at first but I guess it makes sense, right? If true, then Spellskite essentially shuts down Lily, at least until you can get rid of Spellskite.

No. Liliana's +1 doesn't target therefore spellskite does nothing. Her -2 targets but is specific to "opponent" so spellskite does nothing. Same for ultimate.

Every single time I cast Wrench Mind, I just wish it was Hymn to Tourach.

    We all do.
