    Pretty sure if this gets countered you do not lose life, as a counter cancels all the spells effects.


    The life loss from dismember comes from paying its cost...that can't be undone by countering though

    <+1> : Put a 1/1 red Devil creature Token onto the battlefield with "When this creature dies, it deals 1 damage to target creature or player". Tibalt, Master of Pain deals 1 damage to you.
    <-2> : Tibalt, Master of Pain deal 4 damage to target creature and 2 damage to you.
    <-6> : For each player, Tibalt, Master of Pain deals damage to that player and each creature that player controls equal to the number of creatures he or she controls.

    Nahiri, Mastercrafter 3WW
    <+2> : Target land you control becomes an Equipment with "Equip 2" and "Equiped creature gets +1/+0". It is still a land.
    <-x> : Search your library for an Equipment card with converted mana cost X or less and put it onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.
    <-8> : You gain an emblem with "Equipped creatures gain +x/+x where X is the converted mana cost of all equipments attached to it".

    Oath, by itself is good if you want to fill your graveyard. Divination is the generic base line for a draw spell. Ponder is like Oath, but you keep the other 2 cards in your library.

    Really depends on what you want your deck to do. There are other PWs, I have my set of Kiora and Ob that I picked up at about $3 a pop. But, do any of them want this sort of effect? The scry is okay; but unless someone is really dominating my opponent how many PW do people really ever get out? Typically it is one. So, scry one for 3 mana is okay. I would rather have Monastery Siege, myself for the 3 mana.

    It really is Flip Jace that wants this card. It is completely designed for him.


    In those colors maybe the walkers would not want but Tasigur does like scrying and fetcing stuff to the yard
