Hey everyone, future sight is looking to be a lot of fun.
I am sorry I have not been able to keep up as much as I would like. Hopefully i will have a bit more time soon to focus on important things like magic.....:)
Alfred your battle of the sets article is awesome, I really enjoy those articles.
If you are not going the land destruction route, I think Buttons direction is more viable (and faster). I have played the land destruction version a lot, and I know that whithout the ld, you pretty much have no chance of getting someone to concede. The game taking too long is a major concern.
Giddy.
Can you explain in more detail how your combo works, I think I have a general idea, but maybe a more in depth explanation would allow us to comment on it.
I like the deck, but I wonder if there is no long term answers in the deck. I know it is supposed to be aggro, but this deck just seems like it would run out of gas pretty quickly.
The second thing to consider is adding a few bigger creatures like Durkwood Baloth or the Aurouch strategy.
I think its a little different to run aggro with red white because you have so many options to mass pump creatures. I think red green should be quick with some big critters to back everything up.
have you tried peel from reality, I think that may be a better option than repeal or boomerang.
Secondly, I almost think you could drop the land destruction angle. While it may work there are too many decks that do not rely on more than one or two mana for that strategy to be very effective.
Also, Bwee posted a deck similiar to this earlier, you should check out his deck list.
I know that this is a bit different, but I think the only questionable card between either of our lists are Stingscourger and Ivory Giant.
I am not sure how Stingscourger worked in your playing Bwee, let me know. I just see it as more of a sideboard card as there are so many other decks abusing comes into play effects.
Ivory Giant is stellar when he is in play and when I have him out with a blink, its close to an auto win, usually I can get through enough damage to finish someone off, but he is expensive to hardcast and slow to come into play, which is good some games and bad other games.
Jak, My one comment would be that an everyone vs everyone may be a bit too disorganized, I think that what may end up happening is whoever plays the most will end up winning almost regardless of point value.
Secondly, I think it does not allow others not in our clan to get involved.
I almost think a third option, like running a tournament on Sunday nights over the span of a month might be a little better, it would give people the chance to change their deck ever tournament and create a meta game to analyze, this way we could also open it up to other pauper players.
I also think you could run this very similiar to a small season, I would be willing to work on providing more prizes, if we were to do this option, I am not sure everything I have, but I can start looking it up (also it would be interesting to see what effect Planar Chaos would have on Nu-extended)
lets just hope that they never make a set like that again. The truth is most people still dislike Kamigawa simply because Mirrodin dominated the entire time it was legal in standard. There were all these fun combos and decks you could build with Kamigawa, only to loose on the third turn to some insane ravager build.....
i need to get back into playing some games, hopefully one of these nights I will catch up with everyone. My Planar Chaos cards have finally came in, so I will start playtesting.
Hey everyone....planar chaos is finally in stores. I should be getting my shipment of commons soon and can start playing around with deck ideas. It looks like everyone has already started...this could be very interesting.
I will have to look at classic again as I think that could be a fun format, especially if tourneys are on Saturdays, I may actually be able to play in them.
I am finally back and hoping to be able to play again, it has been a crazy last few weeks, but good. I would like to thank those princes that showed up last Saturday and I hope the food and drinks were pleasing to the palette (too much iron chef).
anyways, the new set looks incredible, and I am very excited to get my cards in to start testing, white looks like it will just be a beast.
Truthfully I am almost shocked with Mono Blue doing so well. I am not sure if that was an aberration or not, but that deck looks interesting. Is there any more insight on how viable this deck is? This time in between sets is always a little strange as people are really waiting for the new cards.
hopefully I will be able to hop online and play a few games in the next few days.
If you think that there will be a lot of control, it may not be a bad idea to run a counter deck, maybe black and blue madness, as it has not really been fully explored and can catch some people off guard.
I wish I could be, but considering I have not been able to post a whole bunch, I would not recommend myself.
I promise I will try and hop in this weekend to play a few games if anyone else is around....its been too long.

Its a very cool idea.
4 Subterranean Shambler
4 Whitemane Lion
4 Guardian of the Guildpact
4 Keldon Mauraders
4 Aven Riftwatcher
4 Ivory Giant
4 Momentary Blink
2 Dawn Charm
4 Rift Bolt
4 Skred
8 Snow-covered Plains
8 Snow-covered Mountains
2 Snow-covered Islands
4 Terramorphic Expanse

Suggestions?
I like the deck, the one thing that concerns me is the rebel engine, its nice, but I am not sure it really fits with what you are doing.
I would maybe add Benalish Cavalry or Aven Riftwatcher. They seem to be a bit more aggro.
Secondly, I think it does not allow others not in our clan to get involved.
