We've had a wrath variant for each set in Ravnica-Hour of Reckoning, Culling Sun, and I think Dissension (Azorius, to be specific) will get something like this:
Senate's Banishment 2WWU
Choose one: destroy all tapped creatures, or destroy all untapped creatures.
Capobar's master can't possibly be Szadek because he mentions "nine guilds, not ten" and also not making sense to me is how everyone thinks the simic will have a part in terminating the guildpact. they are not evil. thier colors represent knowledge and nature. while they may be somewhat megalomaniacal, i don't see them trying to kill the guildpact. for his master we can rule out the ghost council (group, although they always have a role in business), the selesnya (too good), jarad of the golgari (since he's good, the golgari are kind-of good guys for us now) razia's too good, augustin probably wouldnt be involved with something like this (he wouldnt care). borborygmos can't be it because he's not a real guildmaster-just "leader of largest gruul clan" and the gruul have no organization. that leaves niv-mizzet, rakdos, and momir vig. Niv Mizzet could have a want for dragon blood as a token but that's really it. Since we found out about the guilds we knew rakdos would be the ultimate "evil guild" and rakdos definitely seems to be the guy who's making master plans and such, but momir vig would probably want dragon blood for an experiment and would control "dumb monsters".
well, you've really got 3 options. Uber control, uber kill, or just plain weird-simic is going to be kind of like the izzet because u/r and g/u don't usually go together..so weird stuff happens. Me, i say everyone says they are going to do rakdos until they find out wizards is making it so its actually not amazingly good as you'd think it is (kill kill kill) as we see from their mechanic. i think azorius may be the most played because it's really one of the only control decks. no one plays dimir, simic's not going to be about control, no one is playing bleeder, and there's only a little b/w control and of course izzetron control.
[quote=The Descent]I think that this keyword is very strange. a lot of cards in standard wants you to draw cards on cards (let's take a look at mikokoro, for example), and it's very hard to have ZERO cards in your hand.
we can assume from this (maybe) that rakdos is going to be quick. when you have a quick deck you rarely have many cards in hand. the two standard speed decks so far-boros and gruul-want to get as many threats out as possible. i've played with both these guilds and can say that very rarely do i have a large hand, and often barely a hand.
so we know now (and have really always known) that rakdos is a spike guild. it does anything to win, even the craziest stuff. but we can't speculate too much on this one card because it's ONE CARD! it doesn't mean the entire guild will be terrible. but wizards can't make rakdos what everyone expects it to be because then it would be broken-good. they have to make it different than just burn-kill awesomeness and they either are going to lean less on that theme or make drawbacks.
In each set there has been 2 power instant uncommons, which excludes watchwolf.
Rav-Lightning Helix, Putrefy
Watchwolf is another
Guildpact-Mortify, Electrolyze
So on Dissension we can probably conclude by trend that there will be a black power uncommon. You could also conclude that there will be a red one through trend and wizards can't betray us by having the best guild (possibly) not having a power uncommon.
it won't necessarily end with an "-ify" which is purely a coincidence
So it makes sense (since mortify was creature/enchantment and putrefy was artifact/creature) that rakdos' power uncommon could be this
1RB (something synonimous w/ 'kill' or 'destroy')
Destroy target creature or land. If it's a creature, it can't be regenerated.
well i don't see the "official name" of the rakdos guildhall being "the hellhole" because in the ravnica book it's mostly used as slang (seemingly) the name could be like
'such and such', the hellhole
and that art that we keep seeing can't be for a guildhall owing to the fact that we have never (before rav or gp) seen art for a guildhall before the release
NJ piscataway

Anybody agree?

dissension is really a word-meaning political unrest or (correct me if i'm wrong) dissent, but it's spelled with an s, look it up
no its probably rakdos, just with different art on the fat pack display cases (like on the rav + gp ones)
