I run a Memnarch deck that I only pull out as a last resort in case a combo or control player is really dominating a pod over a series of games. It's a lot of fun - for me, anyway, because I just steal all the things.
Memnarch won't make you any friends, but he's real good at taking things that aren't yours.
I recently got into Commander '95 (the only legal cards in your deck are ones that were in print as of the end of 1995) and it's seriously the most fun I've had building and playing decks in a while. It works great if your decks/playgroup has gotten a bit stale and overloaded with the same old cards every game.
I run three '95 decks: Xira Arien, Rasputin Dreamweaver and Eron the Relentless. If you ever need a way to shake up a stagnant meta and give everybody a good laugh (while actually being pretty fun to play, too) you should try this out. Just run proxies if you don't have the money cards, though, otherwise you'll go broke.
I run a kinda derpy, but really fun, Daghatar deck that just focuses his ability to slide counters around like crazy (because what else would you do with him, right?) Retribution of the Ancients has been amazing removal for me, and Power Conduit is a cheap backup for Daghatar himself.
All the other suggestions in this thread are solid, too. Here are a couple of other cards that I run in my list that you might find useful:
While Kiki, Krenko, or Purphoros are all empirically stronger, I really like Feldon of the Third Path as a general. I run him in a mono-red reanimator deck and it's a ton of fun to play. I guess it depends what you're looking for, though. I love mono-red, but I like trying out different strategies within each color.
I totally agree with Hawk7915 on this one. I've taken almost all the tutors out of my decks (except for niche ones stapled onto creatures, like Godo, or land tutors like Expedition Map) and I've been really happy with the results and so has my play group. It's supposed to be a high variance format anyway, right? Give it a try and see how you like it.
Have you thought about Keranos, God of Storms? He seems to be doing everything Izzet mages want to do in those colors. I've been meaning to build a deck around him since he came out, but I never finalized my list
I run a Karador deck with all three of those cards you mentioned (Sun Titan, the escort, etc.) and they're all champs in that deck.
If you're going to roll with Karador, I recommend searching out the effects you want and then seeing if you can find a creature that does the same, or similar, things so that you can easily recur it. For example, I run Magus of the Disk over the artifact as one of my sweepers, Benevolent Bodyguard for protection, and of course Spore Frog
I've tried the magus before and he's just too expensive (mana wise) to justify the investment of resources. If anyone has any removal, he becomes the prime target once he hits the board.
I have had some success with Blanket of Night as a 2nd copy of Urborg, though.
I'm a Timmy, through and through, but I don't mind playing against combos, so long as I don't see the same one every single game. Besides, I'm the guy who likes Stax and mass LD, so it'd be a bit of the pot calling the kettle black if I starting hating on combo :).
In terms of overlooked cards, Sun Clasp is great for saving my general from removal, Flickering Ward is cheap and versatile, and Temper is a cute little trick for opponents who like to flash in creatures during combat.
My personal favorite will always be Angelic Destiny, though :).
Unless you plan on reanimating isamaru somehow, angelic destiny isn't all that great on isamaru. It's almost strictly worse than armored ascension (depending on how many nonbasics you run, of course).
Agreed. That's why I had to add the caveat that it's just a personal favorite. I run armored ascension in that deck, too, but I just can't help slotting in my pet aura card.

I'd love to see at least a new colorless general that I could slot in for Karn whose creature type doesn't rhyme with Benghazi.
As much as I love my artifacts, though, I can't imagine they'd ever print a whole colorless deck. The sheer amount of terrible colorless lands they'd include would stagger the imagination.

Definitely this ;). Via La CommanderCast!

Ivorytusk Fortress
Cinderhaze Wretch
Mindless Automaton
Necroplasm
Champion of Lambholt
Twilight Drover
Shinewend
Oona's Blackguard
Fertilid
Good luck & happy brewing!
Thought Gorger
Of course, you could always go with Eron the Relentless for lols

That dude was born to be a roadie.

At least combo doesn't waste my time. They just kill everyone and then we shuffle up and play again.

Good advice, though.
