Haha I feel pretty stupid forgetting p/t on my text render, lol. Wow, that's quite dedicated of you to test my card, I merely run it through some scenarios in my mind. I minor problem was that I didn't want like a chain of Rivensoul Riders if I made it a zombie, and pretty much, few people are willing to pay the cumulative upkeep after 3 age counters anyways, so, assuming my card doesn't die early, you'd trade a couple turns to get out your two zombies which you noticed. Thanks for the judging
Rivensoul Rider 1BB
Creature - Spirit (R)
Champion a Zombie
Cumulative Upkeep B(At the beginning of your upkeep, put an age counter on this permanent, then sacrifice it unless you pay its upkeep cost for each age counter on it.)
When Rivensoul Rider is put into a graveyard from play, you may search your library for up to two Zombie creature cards with converted mana cost equal to or less than the number of age counters on Rivensoul Rider and put them into play tapped. Shuffle your library.
apparently there were 4 arrests. The girl who had the birthday cake dropped, the mother, and the two people who took the vid on the whole scene actually happening.
While neither the undead or the victorian style theories can be justified, I'm thinking the "moor" in Shadowmoor would be something like the definition of moor, "a tract of open, peaty, wasteland, often overgrown with heath, common in high latitudes and altitudes where drainage is poor; heath."
It might be just me, but I think it makes more sense that Nightmares will be seen in Shadowmoor rather than Zombies.
Maybe Shadowmoor is the new Phyrexia? That'd be interesting.
Unfortunately, seeing a return of nightmares seem unlikely as they dedicated Torment to it (and some of it spilled into judgement, but that's beside the point). From what I see, the involvement of graveyard seems likely, and the WotC designers will do everything they can to retain the theme without evoking the style of any previous set. Speculation suggests that it will be dark, and naturally there are only so many things that our minds are attuned to when we think dark. Graveyard, zombies, etc. Yet, I think it's likely WotC will pull out something dark without mimicking Odyssey block, perhaps they will explore some previously unexplored territory such as the rising-in-popularity Remove from the game pile. If Ravnica is a new Invasion and Lorwyn is a new Onslaught, would the designers truly want to make another set so close to something done in the past? It makes me wonder whether they're running out of ideas or if they are simply using this to their advantage.
we'll see if we can get a match in
