theres an old post that asked the same thing in this very forum.... i heard the search funtion is good for that.... to answer your question its equal to the amount of counters on it for the bonus, one gives the other a 2/2 boost in stats (does not add counters) the other gives a 1/1 boost in stats giving you two 4/4s.
Using the search function is nice, but not required. It's not your job to tell people what to do. Infraction for repeated backseat moderation. -Carsten
weneedcontroll try posting a decklist, what deck you were playing against, and what crack your smoking, than you mght have some merit to your post. I am sorry but he is rather good.
Sorry but jace is not in the same "overhyped" space as vol and lotus cobra. Vol and cobra lived in the snowy world of "magical christmass land" where they were evaluated for there "if I have card X and do Y this is soooooo good, 20 power wooot, turn 3 violent omg". The difference here is jace provides 3 real world abilities that don't require fantasizing about the perfect scenerio to make him work. As stated before he provides card advantage, card quality, self protection, and if you ever get there a near game ending ultimate. He has decks that support him, we don't have great hard counters but we do have situational counters that have proven to be fine, we just got 2 good draw spells, a great manland, a better signet, an instant X spell, another good wall, and we allready have 2 great shells to put jace in. I am sorry, jace is not overhyped, I do not see him dropping much from his current 60 dollar price tag, he is that good and will see play in almost every format.
just cause its a sorcery doesn't meen its going to get put on the bottom of the stack..... heres how it plays
he plays mom (targeting a creature)
you respond with twincast (targeting mom)
twincast resolves and copies mom (now you may chose new targets, and the effect of mom resolves with the spell)
now his mom resolves and he gets control of the targeted creature (if its the same creature you targeted with the copy from twincast he will be the controller of that creature with 2 counters on it)
and by the way how your opponent described the situation (which is completely wrong) your spell would resolve last giving you the creature with two counters .... making him a filthy cheater
heres a list of cards that i think are going to impact constructed and which format it will impact...
kor firewalker --- std ext

thats a pretty large list, and if allies take off, add about 5 more to that. while worldwake isn't extremely powerfull, ita a well balanced set that offers alot to many formats.... and i am sure theres alot more if i include edh. Overall its a good set and i like it.
also gonna be a pain in ext vrs all in red. and this is not the death to cascade, the best cascade deck is jund, and they rarely cast more than 2 spells a turn
ok vamps deoesn't play white, one reason it would never play day, on the other hand mutilate as a sideboard option is a good one, much like faeries did when damnation was standard legal
anyone complaining about her price needs to learn how to speculate cards and get them while they are cheaper, its only your fault you waited till they hit 50+, I got my playset for about 25 a pop. Do not blame wizards for printing a damn good card that is balanced by the great removal in this format, if she had shroud that would be a different story. Even though tarmo was great he was no jitte in terms of format warping, same with baneslayer.
guys and gals get over it, baneslayer is nuts, sees lots of play, its 50 because it dominates a game. stop kidding yourself and know an evasive 5/5 with lifelink and super defence at mythic should be valued high
why is this thread even disscused after such a long time
