I want a counterspell that coats UU and a phyrexian blue mana (on my phone so I'm not able to use the symbols). Could be formatted to cost UUU with being able to reduce by U if pay two life (as a throwback, because we all know phyrexian mana is never happening again).

I was thinking about just this today, as I bought a playset of nahiris over the weekend haha!
Weren't there jund decks during the deathrite era that played ajani vengeant (ajundi)? I was serving an LDS mission at the time so I wasn't playing Magic.
Would it be possible for junk/jund to splash her and emrakul? One complaint about these disruptive decks is that they can't close games right? Seems like an easy way to do just that to me.
I was playing standard during Kamigawa/Ravnica and I played a RUG tempo deck called Sea Stompy. This deck played a lot of cheap threats, ninja of the deep hours, and then thoughts of ruin.
Do you have any ideas of what that deck could look like? I have access to most cards that I could need (tarmogoyfs, etc.) and I just play on a local level so I don't need it to be tier 1 or anything.
I like Deprive, as long as you can pay UU and deal with the tempo loss of bouncing a land.
I've been thinking of Deprive as an Ulamog answer. When Ulamog comes in and exiles 2 lands you can Deprive, counter him, and bounce one of the targets.
I don't think Deprive is a good answer to Ulamog. You say "When Ulamog comes in and exiles 2 lands." Okay, but in what situations is that going to happen? When you have nothing else on your field for Ulamog to exile, because if you have any kind of threat Ulamog is going to hit that first. And if that's the case (i.e. no threats on board), you're probably in a lot of trouble because a blank board against Tron is really bad unless you're on some kind of combo (e.g. Grishoalbrand). The problem is that the number of decks that are Blue and would be fine with a blank board is rather small; Twin used to be one (end of turn Exarch followed by Twin) but now that's gone. The only deck that really seems to fit this description would be Scapeshift, but you then have the problem that you're playing a card that has anti-synergy with your deck in every situation that does not involve your opponent casting Ulamog.
There's also angel into kiki for what it's worth, though I agree with your sentiment in general.
Sideboard changed a lot based on meta, but crumble to dust and chalice/relic would probably be in there somewhere. Not too polished (probably far from it), but I was playing it for a couple weeks for fun and was a blast to play.
Looks good but why are you running so many fetchlands when you can be running fast lands?
Because I couldn't remember the manabase exactly - a few of the fetches would probably be fast lands.

A question for you guys - what do you think about a list that's almost straight UW but then just splashes for crumble to dust in the sideboard? You would lose bolts and electrolyze, but you would gain 4 MD ghost quarter and maybe just add in a crucible of worlds? I'm wondering if the cheap burn or the land disruption is more valuable to this type of deck? I was playing straight UW with a trinket mage package and was playing with the idea of a red splash but then got distracted haha.
I think that it would be a good unban because it would bring white to the table again. It would change modern as a format? Good! I means that we would be able to play with all five colors a little bit more equally (it's never perfect but you get what I mean).
I fail to see how increasing the number of cards available in the sideboard will have any impact on the format whatsoever. And in my book, you don't make changes just for the sake of change.
The reason I don't think it will matter one iota is because YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO IT. The entire format gets to go up to whatever number. So you think you can add 1 more piece against Deck X. Well, even if 1 more piece was material in the matchup, Deck X also gets to add 1 more piece against you. The idea nullifies itself.

The difference is is that linear decks have to have a certain number of cards in their deck be stable regardless of before or after they sideboard. Take affinity for example. Sure, they could have more stuff in their board but they are limited in what they can really move around because so much of their deck depends on specific card interactions. Jund, on the other hand, just has a lot of powerful single cards that don't necessarily have to work with anything else to be good.
The youtube trailer reminded me of bloodborne, so I really hope so. It would be interesting to see an eldrazi manifesting itself in a more subtle and horror-like way.
I want an artifact that costs 2-3 and says "you may choose all modes for any spell" or something to that effect and then make a deck that is that card, ways to find that card, and the rest of the deck is charms and commands.

I'm looking to play a RUG tempo deck that includes both ninja of the deep hours (4x) and thoughts of ruin (3-4x).
