Yes, GIMP is free. Also, I'd just try rebooting your computer. If that doesn't work, reinstalling should help, and if that doesn't work, then I don't know what to say (other than get CS2 :sneaky:).
Anyway, I've had quite a bit of experience with Elements 4.0 and frankly, I've now become spoiled with CS2, but it's still a good program. I never had problems like that, so either you have a corrupted version, or there's something wrong with your computer.
"What are you doing here?" he booms with a stern and skeptical tone of voice. "I cannot say I am used to two...drow...appearing." The word 'drow' is dripping with something between extreme suspicion and disgust.
As for feats, right now I have Spell Penetration, Weapon Focus, Ability Focus, Maximize SLA, and Quicken SLA (all eldritch blast). I have 2 feats left to spare. I'm thinking maybe Improved Toughness so I don't die while throwing hellfire, but I'm not sure.
Also, I can't attach a Harm spell to an eldritch blast. Only Eldritch Theurges can attach spells to their eldritch blasts. I can, however, apply eldritch essence invocations to spells, but I'm not sure I'll ever actually use that.
Thanks
I'm not sure Favored Soul is correct. It costs me a level to get to 2nd level spells, and I lose a lot of the versatility of being able to change my spells daily. Granted, I don't need to worry about offensive spells at all, but I still would rather have versatile clerical spellcasting. Also, the flavor of my character was going to be quit different from that of a favored soul, but I can change that a little.
That said, I may try it anyway. The high saves are nice too.
If I take Maximize/Empower/Quicken Spell-Like Ability (Eldritch Blast), can I use that on a blast that's been modified with a blast shape and/or essence invocation?
Also, along the same lines, anyone have feat suggestions for a Warlock / Cleric / Eldritch Disciple / Hellfire Warlock?
I'll bet Prismatic Sphere can be pretty nasty with Yukora's character, but I still have to agree. Miracle is an incredibly powerful spell, and it seems like you should probably get that first and take Prismatic Sphere next level. Especially since I can do the Prismatic Sphere thing for you.
This seems correct to me.
8 bmh – Mishra's Factory / Swamp / The Rack / Thoughtseize / Vesuva
When ced395 is on the play, he simply drops Kodama turn 1, and swings every turn. if bmh never blocks he takes 6 every turn, and even if he uses Thoughtseize and drops The Rack he just loses. If he blocks, his Factories die, and now he's really screwed.
When bmh goes first, he has to Thoughtseize Kodama, because otherwise the same thing happens. If he does that, then ced395 drops Aura of Silence and Digger turn 1. Now, whenever bmh manages to play The Rack it will die immediately, and ced395 has Kodama out in 2 more turns, which is plenty fast enough against bmh's Factory (or two if he slows down by a turn to drop Vesuva as a Factory).

Playing Lyrillon: Fighter 10 / Arcane Archer 12 // Sorcerer 8 / Abjurant Champion 2 / Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil 7 / Archmage 5
I'm a blaster and a defensive counter-mage with veils attached. At this point, the bow is mainly there for nice tricks (read: imbue arrow) and places/enemies where spells don't work properly.
Unless they state that they specially help your familiar, they do not.
"+1 level of existing class" under Spells per day just means that you're treated as gaining another level in the class for spellcasting and spellcasting only. You get +1 CL, spells per day as if you're one level higher, and (if applicable) spells known as if you're one level higher. That's it. No bonuses to your familiar.
I haven't decided on the phobia yet, but I may go with a fear of accidentally killing things that don't deserve it (which he does once in a while when he loses control).

You are incorrect sir. That may be fully RAW, but it's nowhere close to RAI. Those rules were not intended to be stacked together, and they were probably intended to be used during the game (not during character creation beforehand).
But seriously, your incessant munchkining gets really annoying. Can you please look at the rest of the characters and try to make something of comparable power. Better yet, make it something that feels like a character with some numbers added because you'll need them for fighting things. So far every character I've seen you make feels like a pile of numbers with a little flavor tacked on at the end.
In other news, I'm done and ready to go. I added a couple Abjurant Champion levels (which were going to come in later anyway), and I'll come back to the class after Perfect Arcanist. Check the second post in this thread if you want to see the sheet.
General suggestions are welcome.
Also, no idea what I'll be playing, but whatever it is, it'll go in this post.
Working on the character here.
