I know it's been a thousand years, but if I found this threas, someone else might be looking for tips aswell.
What you have to notice is that, in EDH, a traditional 2 for 1 is not card advantage. You have to 3 for 1 at least, since you are wasting your card to get rid of at least one card from each opponent.
With that in mind, wraths and mass sacrifice are always the best value. I run a Kresh that that has no sacrificing theme, but makes it so Kresg gets its power from me controlling the board. It's basically a jund rock or nic fit for EDH. Ramp a lot and get mass value from big spells and grow Kresh at the same time.
Also, you are loaded with 2-3 mana ramp spells. I think you need to diversify and put in some bigger ramp, ones that get you really far in land count.
I think Lone Rider is exactly what Soul Sisters wants. Not sure about you guys, but gaining 3 life is very easy with the deck, from my experience. It doesn't feel situational at all. Just get rid of those crappy Squadron Hawks (always hated them) and put them in. I would even go as far as cutting a few Honor of the Pure for Thraben Inspector's, would make the deck very consistent.
I have also switched to the monoW version of this deck. Tron matchups are very bad even with the UW version, so I didn't see much use for the splash, aside from Supreme Verdict. And with the addition of Thraben Inspector, monoW gets a lot of cantrips and consistency. This version is very good against most tier one decks but, like someone mentioned above, I've thrown away the Tron matchup. Scapeshift is still ok, if you can land a bunch of Lone Missionaries. Here's the list:
SB is more geared towards Tron and Affinity, since one is the bad matchup and the other is abundant in my meta. Including things like Chalice of the Void, Nevermore, Stony Silence.
Went away from Flickerwisp and more towards draw-go (little bit). Trying to maximize Ojutai's Command with 4 walls and 4 missionaries MB. SB constains things like Chalice of the Void, Nevermore, more wraths, anti burn stuff, negates...
Any opinions? Should I get some Anticipates in there?
The biggest weakness of the deck is combo matchups. Why go Green and lose even more % in this matchup, while not getting that much % against control/creature decks? I'd rather just go mono white and get super consistent instead.
I definitely recommend more counterspells. You already have a great matchup against creature decks, so you gotta back yourself up against combo. I'm running 2 Negate + 1 Dispel + 1 Negate SB, but I ran 3 Negate before and it was great aswell.
I know you just acquired the paper deck, but Stony Silence is soooooo powerful, try to get that for the SB!
BTW, I'm not playing during this Eldrazi season, waiting for it to be over, so these suggestions are based on the previous/future meta.
Guys, I'm running Linvala, the Preserver instead of the 4th Titan, and it works great. The thing is: if you're behind, she's great. If you're ahead, well, you're ahead!
I'm also running 3 Eldrazi Skyspawner now. going down to 2 Pilgrims... I'm only running 2 Hussar, so I might even go up to 3.
Why go mono-white, if not for budgetary reasons? I mean, this deck has one of the most stable manabases for a 2 colored deck, since Blue/Green is like a splash only and you run Pilgrim's Eye. Also, the main problem I have with this deck is taking too long to finish games. The Eldrazi Skyspawner should help a little bit with that, but I don't expect much.
Anyway, the UW version of the deck has a solid matchup against most, if not all, decks in the format (especially when Eldrazi goes byebye), if you're running a few counterspells.
if you're paying 5 for an angel, the answer is Baneslayer.
and this deck IS a slow deck. It can lock someone and win. But you gotta know that it can have trouble closing. Dunno how many Flickerwisps you run but they help closing out.
I run 3 Flickerwisps, but yeah, it's just that sometimes my LGS runs FNM with 5 rounds of 40 minutes each, making things a little tighter.
I'm also running Linvala, The Preserver and Emeria Shepherd. Gotta say, still couldn't cast the Shepherd, but Linvala really brings you back to speed on games where you're at an disadvantage.
For Tron and Eldrazi decks, I'm going for 3/1 Negates and 2 or 3 Nevermore in the SB.
Hey wooboy, I was thinking about adding Nevermore to my sideboard too. What are the first and second cards that you would name with Nevermore in each of those two matches?
Eldrazi: Ulamog then Oblivion Sower
Tron: Ulamog then Karn (or even Ugin/Oblivion Stone is you have a big boardstate)
For me, Ulamog is the great danger we face against the big mana decks, since we can't really stop him (Nevermore effects are the only ones that come to mind). I won't use meddling mage because aggressive decks are gonna be raging, so Tron will probably run 4 Pyroclasm/Rakdos Return in their 75.
Still, I haven't tested this yet, it's all theory for now.

Will try when I get the time.

You do cast Ancestral Visions when the suspend is over. So you'd have pay 1 generic to make it resolve.
I think not. This deck lives or dies on the earlier turns, so we need as many answers as we can during these turns.
Of course, though, it is worth trying.
How about the combo? Sword foundry. Again, we can answer that easily and it doesn't really synergize much with our deck. Do we change anything at all?

With that in mind, has anyone tried Serra Avenger? I like the Aven Mimeomancer tech as well. Or even Serra Angel, since it dodges Decay and Bolt.
Practice with the deck brought me faster play, is more practice all I need instead?
