Also three colour pairings allow for a great variety, in story and in gameplay. Thanks for posting this stuff.Posted in: Articles

Worn Powerstone seems slow for a mana rock when you play Darksteel Ingot. Helps with colour fixing. Along a similar vein, try out BOP over Palladium Myr, fixes colours.
I use Beastmaster's Ascension over Shared Animosity the lasting buff helps you get tons of damage in. If you can get your hands on a Craterhoof Behemoth it is a staple in this kind of an aggro/(Brooklyn)Zoo and can, nay, WILL win you games. (R.I.P. ODB)
Check out my list for other ideas, I'll be updating it later today.
Stonehewer Giant is nut bars in equipment decks.
Darksteel Plate (as stated above) is great for protection alongside Whispersilk Cloak and Lightning Greaves.
Golem-Skin Gauntlets can beef up any of the Nairi Kor tokens.
The new Relic Seeker may interest you as an equipment tutor.
Have you thought about and other mana doublers to go with or replace Caged Sun - Like Gauntlet of Power or Extraplanar Lens?
For the same CMC Coldsteel Heart can replace Fellwar Stone. If you have no opponents playing R it's only going to be getting you colourless mana.
Great Furnace for a Mountain seems like a good trade off, gives you synergy with Doritos, Goblin Welder, or Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer.
Just a couple of thoughts.
Personally I'm not huge on cutting mana doubles, though have lower cost option will be faster. Red has no mana excel that's consistent, so any chance to make more use out of basic mountains is okay for me.
The damage doublers, along with Rumbling Crescendo, and Volcanic Offering were on their way out. (Although, I do like this card for the targets you don't control. Down the stretch it's a really sleazy way to hurt your opponent(s). I get that it's costly, and there are better options in the form of creatures, which can be reanimated.)
Spire Barrage will go out with the damage doublers.
Strionic Resonator was only intended for the ETB triggers, which, in retrospect, the mana for it's activation cost should be put towards other forking or sac triggers to get max synergy.
Wake of Destruction seems high cost for little gain, even in a multiplayer match unless you choose a massively shared colour (usually Islands). Mana should be used on cheaper global effects.
Alhammarret's Archive I'm eager to try, seen it very briefly the other day. I think with the newly acquired cards like Wild Guess and old goodies like Tormented Voice it might seem strong. I'm not willing to give up on it yet.
I like the War's Toll in a deck like this, forcing your opponents to use all of what resource they have left after you've triggered Numot would limit the responses and survival tricks by said opponents. Grand Abolisher could limit the inevitable Cyclonic Rift on attacks as well.
I was thinking of going artifact sub theme, adding in Darksteel Forge, Mycosynth Lattice, and Mycosynth Golem, could be nuts with Vandalblast. Nevinyrral's Disk would be available as well. Thoughts?
I've never really been a big fan of All Is Dust it just seems like it will eat all of your good coloured permanents. I guess it's an answer to being locked output if your being locked, control magic is flowing.
You do have some cool stuff in here though, have you thought about Sylvan Library over Mirri's Guile? It gives you better card advantage.
