Yo! This is ShinyMan. Thanks for commenting on my blog. In response to your courtesy, I'm here to see your blog.
Looking from the openess of T2 right now there could be hundred of deck archetypes between tier 2 to tier 1. Dovescape has always been a tier 1.5 at best. (Win sometimes but doesn't get played and win consistently.) It might take endless effort to push it up to tier 1. But I sure would like to pad your shoulder and say 'Go for it, man!'
Yep. Haven't drafted for a few months is why.
That's roughly the average number of global enchantments in a big set (//gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&type=+[Enchantment">&subtype=+![%22Aura%22]&set=|[%22Return%20to%20Ravnica%22]"]RTR, //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&type=+[Enchantment">&subtype=+![%22Aura%22]&set=|[%22Gatecrash%22]"]GTC, //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&type=+[Enchantment">&subtype=+![%22Aura%22]&set=|[%22Magic%202014%20Core%20Set%22]"]M14). A Magic set needs a proper mix of card types to work. I guess the number works out and so WotC sticks to that.
Not sure if the GL is 'good luck' or 'game loss'. If I were you, this would probably be the latter.
As for the main issue, I play land at bottom. It's just easier to interact with your opponents' cards this way. It's a little annoying if my opponents play lands up front, but nothing major.
That's because at the time of Tempest block, card wording wasn't streamlined, hence the oddity.
Veteran N (At end of each combat, if this creature attacked or blocked this combat and isn't veteran, put N +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes veteran.)
Then you can have triggers from becoming veteran.
That should be fun. You see it here first guys.
If you saw that, then I think the current world we live in is fairly balanced. There are enough good spells that control decks still exist in reasonable amount.
It's obvious. Faith's Shield was with the standing man. The kneeling man is the unbeliever. The unbeliever hammered that out with a blow.
At least a dedicated one. Not sure if that's good or bad though.
