Should have been named "Glory's Blade" or "Seeker's Blade" instead.

I'm bummed that the mythic rare is an emotionless mass of fire. In contrast, the uncommon and rare are full of life. It's a shame that the same artist wasn't given the chance to complete the cycle.

Wow, the flavour text stinks. They could have tried to be more poetic and less direct, maybe something like "No pious plea is too soft." or something like that.

More accurately, this set isn't supposed to have futureshifted cards; MaRo said this himself. This card feels a bit futureshifted.

Am I right in assuming that this will be a house in EDH? Hit the most vulnerable opponent, then destroy the most troublesome planeswalker and artifact on the battlefield?

My guess is that the allied Horizon lands won't be printed during the next rotation year. If we're gonna get them in a Standard-legal set, it will be the fall set of 2020.

Frank Karsten's theory that Standard's manabase should have one cycle of lands for aggro and one cycle of lands for control makes a lot of sense. Currently, we have a cycle for aggro in shocklands (allow turn-1 play), so this likely won't come out until shocklands rotate. If shocklands and horizon lands exist in the same Standard, multi-color aggro can become way too good and too consistent.

I really appreciate the variety of mana fixing here, each with its own upsides and downsides. This should make for an interesting limited format.

It makes sense to me for Liliana to turn on Bolas in this situation. We know that the most important character trait for her is her obsession with achieving freedom. We saw her go on a multiverse tour and do all sorts of evil stuff for that.

Now, Bolas's control over her and his forcing her to wreak havoc in Ravnica make her realize that there will never be freedom for her as long as Bolas is still around, and that she might as well fight him and get her final moment of freedom rather than submit to him forever.

ShinyMan: If the art does suggest that two of them die, then it has to be Gideon and Jace. The other two are known to survive. I think we know that Jace also survives.

Having said that, I'm not sure why this would suggest any of them die. It's not like it destroys PWs. If anything, it would represent them switching sides?
The ability is choosing two out of four cards to return to hand and the other two remain in the graveyard; there are four planeswalkers opposing Bolas in the art.

Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this.

You do know Ajani's in the comic set after WAR, right? So Ajani is confirmed to survive for sure.

I didn't know that. I just don't follow the news all that closely.

What I said was just a theory though. That said, we all know that for this set, WotC has been very deliberate with card arts, names, and abilities. It just seems like a huge mistake to me for them to make a card with this ability and this art without the two having anything to do with each other.

Do Deliver unto Evil's artwork and rule text imply that two of those four will die?

My guess would be Ajani and Gideon.

Just to remark that it's possible to kill this and exile it from the graveyard in response to the trigger to get rid of it for good.

I feel like they missed out on not calling this Domri’s Raid.

Eh, they already missed their chance for Dovin's Ban. I guess that the creation team isn't fond of name puns.

lol. You two do realize that this is WotC's creative and not LSV, right?

This ability will not be keyworded because green isn't in dire need for a keyworded, evergreen ability. They had to come up with Intimidate, Prowess, and Menace because red commons needed some pretty badly.
