that would have been logical. Basically I play combo decks mostly, but I do have a zombie aggro deck that is mean. whereas my friend will play just about anything, but per the rules, he'll be using mono Black. I'm trying to find a good way to hose that as well. But I've gotta be careful. He makes some of the most ridiculous decks out of the jankiest cards.

    UPDATE:
Ok, I have 2 deck ideas in the works. one is a red aggro as suggested.
the other is a whit equipment, I'll post both for some feedback.

The first one is pretty straight forward. Play creatures, equip them, blah blah blah. the second one isn't finished yet, and I'm not sure about it at all. Aggro strategies are not my forte. So any suggestions on that would be helpful.

Ok here's the deal, my friend and I are off at separate colleges. we both play magic. we can't play again until christmas. So we decided to each make decks and use them at that time. However to make it interesting, we added some strange rules.

First, the budget for both decks MUST NOT EXCEED $19.88 american. Basic lands are counted as $.05.
Second, the legality of the decks is Mirrodin+Kamigawa and any core set upward of 8th.
Third, I CANNOT USE ANY BLACK CARDS. Sucks, because Black is my favorite color.
Fourth, My deck must include 20 artifacts, but CANNOT be artifact or affinity based.

Now, the reason I'm here is to get some ideas. anybody out there got any suggestions? It's tricky and I need some help to get the juices flowing. But I cannot lose this. I MUSN'T! AID ME MINE BROTHERS IN MY GLORIOUS CRUSADE!.

It's late for me alright, I have early classes. Any help is appreciated in the form of a hug.

Nonsense, you just have to know how to appease him. I give him my share of the babies at the annual Baby Cook-off.

I just want to say that I, as an american citizen, am disgusted at the things you are saying. I can safely say I have never eaten a baby, nor am I excited that you started this thread without getting all of the facts.

    FACT:
28.2% of Americans DO NOT eat babies.

    FACT:
The public school system is not nearly as terrible as people think it is. (It's actually much, much worse)

    FACT:
35% of the time, we're right all the time.

    FACT:
50% of America isn't stupid, it's just apathetic.

    FACT:
Chuck Norris is an American. Beat that.

    FACT:
America invented the internet, thus dooming mankind.

So please, get your facts right before spreading such slanderous filth.

Disclaimer: The views Faxanadu of do not in any way reflect those of the typical american citizen or anyone similar in nature. If you have any complaints, please, don't waste my time and just get rid of them.

Many of those who use magic are sick all the time. They go through multiple marriages. They have money problems. Their cars get flat tires. They get their share of flus and colds.

This is my favorite line from that witchcraft page. anything even more ridiculous you can find guys?

Good Lord it's been a while since I last posted. Anyway, As you can guess the reason I'm here is that I have some inconsistancies in this new deck of mine that I want to work out, so I'm turning to y'all for some help. First off, here's the Deck:

Alrighty, time for some notes. for those older players out there you cna see that this uses a classic Joukulhaups/Ivory Gargoyle-type creature for a steady beatdown. Firebird in play, everything goes blam! Now as you can also probably guessis a little inconsistant with the timely arrival of a firebird. usually I have to blow everything up a few times before I win. Most of the time the game ends in a draw because neither of us can do anything.

Specific cards I feel need attention:
    [card]
    Keldon Halberdier
[/card]: Yeah he sucks, I know. I had originally planned on having him land just after the haups, but he is never really any use. I just cut the slots down, and Now I'm looking for something to take his spot for good.

    [card]
    Plunder
[/card]: Actually good in this deck despite the suspend time. It always does something usefull for me.

    [card]
    Rift Bolt
[/card]: Dunno what to say. Kinda usefull for cheap removal after stuff blows up, but otherwise not really helping much.

That's all I have to say except that I'm having trouble speeding the deck up and making it more consistant. Most suggestions welcome as long as they don't break the bank. Thanks to all that contributed.

That brings back painful memories my friend. But why do so many people insist on being sore losers? Play it out at least and lose with dignity instead of making an ass out of yourself.
