Sorry, I've fallen out of touch with everything "fun" these times due to a really hard end of term. I'd be ready to jump back in if you want Yukora or if you prefer I'll remain sidelined

Kalnian takes their hand, his feet touching Viken so that he can come too.

"I won't make the same mistake twice"

Kalnian appears suddenly out of the shadows and then advances to help Viken out of the shadows too.

Shadow Blink to Blink out of the embrace, then aid another on Viken if part of him is out of the shadows

Kalnian looks as Tenebrae disappears and thinks to himself, aloud. "If that thing sent him somewhere else, on another plane maybe, he probably shouldn't be alone. Viken, let's go join him"

With those words, Viken jumped boldly into the shadows, bringing Kalnian with him, his lance tightly grasped.

    Quote from JodoYodo

In days of yore, from Britain's shore,
    Wolfe, the dauntless hero came,
    And planted firm Britannia's flag,
    On Canada's fair domain.
Here may it wave, our boast, our pride,
    And joined in love together,
    The thistle, shamrock, rose entwine

    The Maple Leaf forever!

    Chorus:
The Maple Leaf, our emblem dear,
    The Maple Leaf forever!
God save our King, and Heaven bless,
    The Maple Leaf forever!

    etc etc.

And there, you get a riot from every French Canadian in the country... ideally our national anthem should be able to rejoin everyone in the country, not either just the French or the English. It's one of the reasons I don't think our actual anthem is ideal, as originally it's a French Canadian song inciting to rebellion, but when you just take the lyrics it can apply to both sides. Here is how it looks in the original version, in French, and keep in mind that originally, people referred to Canada and Canadians as the French Canadians, while the English at that time were true English subjects of the crown. The song was talking about Canada protecting it's French citizens of the "mean" English. Some of the translations don't actually make sense in English but eh, happens.

    O Canada....................................O Canada
Terre de nos aïeux........................Land of our Ancestors
Ton front est ceint.......................Your forehead is belted
    de fleurons glorieux.......................Of glorious jewelry
Car ton bras sait porter l'épée.........As your arm, knows how to bear a sword
Il sait porter la croix......................It knows how to bear a cross
Ton histoire est une épopée............Your epic history
Des plus brillants exploits................Is filled with the most amazing feats
Et ta valeur, de foi trempé..............Your worthiness, of toughened faith
Protègeras nos foyers et nos droits...Will protect our homes and our rights
Protègeras nos foyers et nos droits (bis)

For some reason, I thought it was the other way around... your SN being Tenebrae and the character Halinn...

"I'll try something, Tenebrae", Kalnian said, drawing his sword.

Humbleness glowed and said: "At last we find a use for Purity, I was waiting for that opportunity to come"

Kalnian swung his sword above his head and light as bright as the day started coming out of it. It grew slowly to finally reach the shadowy substance after a few seconds.

Daylight effect, extending on a 60 ft radius from Kalnian

"This shadow seems to be quite consuming, we've got to find either a way to consume it, or to walk around it" said Kalnian, looking at the dark subtance.

Humility: Finally. That hammer should just choose and go on with it.

Kalnian : Now that we arrived to a consensus, let's push the walk so that we finally purge this temple of whatever foul evil is plaguing it

"For all what Andras fought for, can you stop all that offending this, offending that? I mean, it's not as if we've seen anything really offensive from one another yet. Weird, maybe. Of bad taste, maybe to. But offensive, what are you, 12 years old green backs? Teenage prude little girl? Stop being such children and act like the heroes the circumstances made you become"

Kalnian seemed pretty tired of all the childish fussing, the adventure was starting bad.
