I think casual players are those that don't really care about netdecks or large tournaments like the Pro Tour (or don't even know about them), and don't attend PTQs and similiar or higher tournaments.
If you don't have 7 artifacts on the table by turn 3-4, you are doing something very wrong. Getting Enforcer out should never be a problem unless you just got hit by a Deed, or Shattering Spree for 4+; in those situations nothing can help you anyway.
But the point is that you want your Myr Enforcer in turn 2, not 3-4. And if you have 1 card like a Somber Hoverguard or a Ornithopter so you have a better chance of getting the early Enforcer drop.
If it doesn't come into play for free, you should still only have to pay 1 or 2 for it, which is still a good deal for a 4/4 beater. And if you happen to have a long game, then its definately a 4/4 for free. Seems like a sound investment to me.
It seems a better investment to play it for free+another card into play like a turn 2 Thoughcast for a Frogmite and a Worker,to play a Enforcer.

But i kindof think that BDW will be kind of week in the ptq season because every deck is now set up to beat it, and some other decks, because it was so popular at Worlds. And no, it did not sortof win, Antonio Damo De Rosa won:D with it, he is just awsome.
I think pillage is pretty good in this format, because of the Cloudpost/Vesuva decks.
No... Bad... Myr Enforcer is part of the core of the deck. Cause you know, it has Affnity. I would probably just play 4. Its important.
Well, just because it has affinity doesnt mean that it comes into play for free. You need 7 artifacts in play. And in a so aggro deck like affinity, you dont want to sit there and dont get your Myr Enforcer into play, and that is exatly why we only play three of those, because the 1 other spot can make you play your Enforcer more often and faster in your game.
I'm playing John Alesi-Mullen's deck and it has quite a bit of trouble getting 2 white mana,considering there are only 4 white producing lands,as soon as i want. Brain freeze isn't as useful as it once was, as i have only used it twice in the past 50+ games. Muddle i will take into consideration though and thank you all for the suggestions.
Well, the deck has 6 fetches though, so thats about 10 chances of white mana in the deck, so i dont see that there is any problem. But as soon as you want is not an option, because you should rather controll the board with counterspells and such if you have trouble with loosing, and that kind of foolishness.

The reason that i havent posted is i guess that i have been folowing the intence [499] drama, (allthough i did not reply, of obvious reasons), and that was a lot of reading.
Anyways, im doing pretty fine, saw another cool movie called High Fidelity, wich was great, I have been at Senes place this weekend, and that was awsome ofcourse, I was a little tired though, so for Sene's part, i could might be more..hmmm..... awake.
Magic: We are getting closer to the great PTQ of the year, the extended ptq. I am planning to play affinity, but I am to say that i am not quite comfy with it yet, and that disturbs me.
What do you think? Whats the best affinity list now? C'mon fellas!
First of all, I must say that I am SO glad that this mess is worked out, I chose to stay out of it for some reasons, but whatever, its long gone now;)
And second, I was also VERY glad when i saw Magic Mage's comment on wanting to invite me to the clan:dance:, i was pretty exited to be honest, and ive got to say, Magic Mage::heart: and for you!:D I hope this will be considered, as i have now learned to spell MAYBE the right way my friend;)

The Starcitygames one has been here for a long time and I'm used to it now... But honestly, I liked the old MtGS logo better.
I have a problem for the upcoming Extended season (PTQ)... I don't know what to use! I have a near-completed The Extended Perfect Storm (lacking the Burning Wishes), but I also have Boros Deck Wins with all the fetches and shocks, lacking only some Savannah Lions and Isamarus (which aren't very hard to come by here, btw). I don't know which one to run! Any suggestions?
I think it is pretty cool actualy, although its a little to manga-ish for me, that banner there. Not very, but a little. The new toolbar is nice though, works for me:)
And about the PTQ season, i think you should run TESP, cause i think it looks like more fun to play realy, and better chanse of winning. Allthough, all the decks in the beta now is only beaten by a realy fast deck, so i think you just must figure out wich one would be the fastest in the matchups, and also how often the decks are fast enough, compared.

I'm soooo pissed. I woke up at 7 (after going to be around 3am, DAMN YOU NARUTO WITH YOUR STUPID CONTINUOUS EPISODES!), because normally I have a college class on saturdays. It's for learning VB.NET(a programing language), and I completely forgot college gets 2 more weeks off for vacation, so me being the stupid person I am, took the train for 40 minutes to go to the College its held at, laughed with the few other stupid people who made the same mistake, and cursed myself as I took the train another 40 minutes back home. What a waste, and now I'm bored and have no plans for the day.

Borat: Very funny, but also kind of descusting somethimes.
Hackers: One of the best movies ever!
World Trade Center: Kind of cool, but ugly story i think.
Idiocracy: Pretty stupid(haha) and not very good at all.
Naked Mile: Extremely ugly ofcourse, but i figured i had to see it, or, i saw it with some friends. But as the other American Pie films, it was so stupid it was amusing.
