That is correct, Josh Donaldson is not on the all-star team
Too many good 3B in the AL. It's ridic that Donaldson, Beltre and Longoria aren't in the All-Star game, but that's what happens when Miggy is around. I honestly think Donaldson or Beltre should be in over Machado (2nd in 3B WAR (mainly defensive value)), but he has so many 3+ hit games, plays amazing defense, and the fact that there seemed to be much more O's fans voting pushing him in.
Round 1 GWu Enchantress
Game 1: I overwhelm him with discard and beat him down with tarmogoyf's and bobs.
Game 2: He got a helm of obedience with sterling grove (japanese copy), and then I realized he couldn't get artifacts, so he got a game warning. He still ended up digging up the helm with a tutor and milled me out.
Game 3: we both mulligan to 5. I keep a hand of 3 lands, duress, bob on the play. I duress him turn 1 see wild growth, land, enchantress, green sun's zenith and 1 other card.. I take the growth. He proceeds to draw a serra's sanctum and can't do anything. I keep stripping him of enchantresses, which was incorrect since I had liliana's in my hand, but I still prevented him from doing anything while I beat down with bob and tarmogoyf, I almost killed myself with my 2 bobs in play, but was able to get there even if he had solitary confinement out as I had just dropped a deathrite.
Round 2 Esper Deathblade
Game 1: I draw too many lands while he lands geist and multiple deathrites while getting rid of my creatures with stp.
Game 2: he was stuck on 2 mana while I stripped him of certain cards, I kill him with an ever growing tarmogoyf.
Game 3: He has multiple deathrites while I have grove going, but he overwhelms me with geist and creeping tar pit. I fight to stay alive, but he drew a 3rd deathrite to advance his board.. had he not played a creature, I had ripped a bloodbraid into liliana which would have killed his geist and put me in a highly probable winning position. 1-1
Round 3: Elves
Game 1 he kills me with a craterhoof after he rips a natural order (stripped one the turn before)
Game 2: I play engineered plague on turn 2, but the game stalled for a long time as I couldn't draw creatures and my deathrite did nothing with a jitte attached to it. He got a progenitus out and attacked me once, but I double punishing fire + double deathrite activated for the win.
Game 3: He doesn't draw that well and I get an aggressive start. He uses deathrite + quirion ranger to gain a good amount of life, but me ripping a plague sealed the game. He attempted to exile a land to fuel a natural order but I had my own deathrite to prevent him from doing so and I take that game. 2-1
Round 4: Junk Stoneblade
I played extremely poorly in this round.
Game 1: We get into a wasteland battle, but he wins as he has a Sylvan Library
Game 2: I kill him with tarmogoyfs while keeping his lands in check with Wasteland
Game 3: I keep a 1 land hand on draw with deathrite and a few 2 drops. Never drew my 2nd land, and he killed my deathrite with a STP. 2-2
Round 5: Burn
Game 1: He applies some pressure with lava spike and rift bolts while laying down lavamancer x2 and a goblin guide, but I have 3 punishing fires to take care of that mess and I kill him with tarmogoyf, as he drew more lands than he wanted to.
Game 2:
Pretty much the same thing happens, he draws too many lands and I burn him out myself with lightning bolts + tarmogoyf beat downs. 3-2
Round 6: Esper Deathblade
Game 1: He plays 2 bobs which I promptly kill and strip his hand. I proceed to take control of the game with punishing fire + grove, sylvan library and liliana which drew me into Bloodbraid into Tarmogoyf.
Game 2: I rip pretty well in this game and was able to take care of a deathrite + geist by punishing fire the deathrite and killing the geist with liliana. He takes a ton of damage from his dark confidant (supreme verdict delivered a huge blow) and I draw into 2 removal spells to kill him. 4-2
Came in 14th out of 54 players and got $25 cash or $33 store credit. I took the store credit as I go to that store every week.
I joined a draft afterwards and had such an insane deck.

So I went into a 5 color special, which was absurd.
Went 6-0 in games with the deck. Highlights include getting 4 extra turns with Ral Zarek in round 1 and getting turn 3 ral zarek into turn 4 deadbridge goliath.
Fast 6 - Awesome. I did love the originals for their racing and action, but as the series has progressed.. I love all the new stuff they have implemented and the story is getting more and more interesting.
Iron Man 3 - Honestly, this was my favorite Iron Man movie. I loved when all his suits help him at the end, that was really cool.
Man of Steel - Just saw this tonight. It was much better than I expected. Action was ****ing fantastic.
Sigh, I forgot about VAT so ended up paying $56 for 2 transmute artifact (instead of the $48 I wanted to pay). I was looking to flip them, but now the profit margin will be minimal at best.
My first MM draft was really weird. I went GU with 6 Thallids and just found out how good GU was in this format. I went 3-0 and I opened Tarmogoyf, Kira and got passed a blood moon and foil kataki + getting 6 prize packs for first. Draft was $30.
Yesterday (well, Friday anyways, so 2 days ago at this point), I went GU again.. with a bunch of suspenders and value creatures. First picked a Sword of Fire and Ice, which I didn't really see, so made the value back again just from that alone. Also drafted a Grand Arbiter. I went 3-0 again barely beating my friend in the finals. Only 2 packs for first here, which was disappointing, but I knew that going into the draft. This one was $25.
In the 8 prize packs, only notable pull was Gifts Ungiven.
I feel like I'm the only twenty-something that doesn't really enjoy drinking. I mean, I drink very seldom - only a few times a year. Mostly because of expense, for the most part, though. But even then, I don't actually want to get drunk, nor do I want to drink low quality alcohol for the taste, so...
I don't understand the drinking culture...
I don't drink, either. On my 21st birthday, I only had one drink and I haven't had one since. It really isn't appealing to me and can only lead to bad decisions if you over-drink, which a lot of people do. Plus, I'd much prefer to spend my money on our favorite tcg.

Really excited about this. I have actually never owned a copy of Mutavault, so being able to acquire a set much easier now is just awesome.
