Turn 1-Sigarda’s Aid
Turn 3-Hammer....Swing for some damage if blocked then more after blockers gone, lethal if unblocked. Still have 11/11 blocker in multiplayer game.
Quote from Tears of Tomorrow (post EU) »... Oooooor you could just cast Demon of Catastrophes and get a bigger creature for less mana and no discard. I mean, I get this thing is repeatable (in theory), but that still seems like an awful lot of hoops to jump through in order to get Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath's token.
Quote from leslak »Well kind of a let down but nice to see the guy in the murder flavor text.
On another note: anyone even sees the mana source? Really can’t see the appeal, honestly prefer to see Jim Davis, Rogue Deck Builder, Tolarian Academy, and Loading Ready Run (they keep up alot of free propaganda with frequency and have good quality)(and yet that guy keeps getting spoilers even if he shows no interest in spoiling them, those other guys get excited upon spoiling limited shaft, comeon give Jim Davis to spoil gem palm, ring leader, etc...)(at least they gave Saffron Olive-MTG goldfish to spoil a great and build around card this time) (this to say the channels not afiliated with channel fireball and proplayers)(forgot the Aether Hub and some of the people from TCGplayer channel)
Quote from Athelas »Quote from AtraxianShade »These might be the least exciting rare dual lands they could have chosen to reprint...
Least exciting? We have shocklands and checklands in standard right now, what could they reprint, orignal duals?
No, they couldnt do fetches.
These were really cool and good in standard. Complaining about these is kinda ridiculous.
Quote from Crag979 »How do you know they are not letting someone else spoil the other 5? We still have what 3 days worth of spoilers?
Quote from italofoca »I think at 2+1 this loses too much of it's constructed appeal. You guys have to consider that in order for a card such as this to be playable you have to commit to a play style that involves cheap, maybe evasive, creatures and that by itself is a liability. Such decks will require really pushed payoffs (aka Curious Obsession, Light Up the Stage, Benalish Marshal) in order to see any glimpse of play and this is far from too pushed.
