Works well with the RB theme of destruction, gives you a bonus for playing it's colors, and has an ability that all players can use. What do you guys think? Awesome fun casual card? Or total crap?

I seriously think that WotC should consider banning a lot of the Raffinity cards in Standard. Arcbound ravager has just been completely dominating the format lately. Maybe they should even go so far as to ban or restrict the artifact lands and DotV as well. It's just not fun to play against anymore, Standard doesn't have a quick enough response to that.

Haste and Bloodthirst conflict a litte, so I don't think there will be many Gruul creatures with haste. If a creature has both abilities, you won't be able to decide whether to play it pre- or post- combat. Should I swing for more damage or hold out for counters??

But what about Niv-Mizzet, the Dragon Mage? Doesn't anyone care about Dragons?!?!

Blue and red both like to control creatures, blue permanently and red temporarily. How about this for an ability:

Legendary Creature - Dragon Mage
XXUR: Gain control of target creature (for X turns) or (with converted mana cost X).
