well since I was responding to the plethora of gift rock in the top8 And I did read the whole thread.
If 50% of the field in NY was Giftrock and only 1 made top 8 then that's a terrible choice And 1 of the rock decks at the Valencia top 8 wasn't a gift rock deck either, just a normal rock deck
Gift Rock is a very good deck if given ample time to set up it's superior cards, the problem is that it doesn't always happen, or you draw the wrong combination of superior cards Zoo and Affinity are very good at punishing players with average draw.....
this isn't a deck for crituqe. It's already been critiqued. The only decision involved with the deck is the 3rd grim harvest vs the 4th mouth of ronom. This should be in the competitive section. Mods move it please.
I agree, but I didn't think we were really allowed to put decks in the competative section blah blah without mods?
well in MB it was an excellent choice, plus unlike what seems to be the case for most turbofog players, I'm actually a good player

Could anyone placing in the top 4 of their respective States/Champs event be so kind as to give a decklist on here and maybe what they might have wanted to change?
I would have kept my maindeck the same. I would have played a different sideboard though since there was only one goyf rack player there and no pickles. I would have liked to have had Imperial Mask against shenanigans
Snow White
MWC (with martyr's but more creatures, slightly more aggro control I guess)
Teachings
Black Blue Korlash
RB Goblins x2
Poorlash
Turbo Fog (me)
Marc Bonnefoy played a similar, yet more untuned version, of the goblin deck at champs... kinda scary actually

well since it's only 8K you'd have to lose quite a few of them.... But yes, having playing FNM's and gone 4-1-1 and lost points are interesting.....
