I looked at this deck: http://www.mtgsalvation.com/decks/151-bant-eldrazi
For some reason, in the card mana pie chart, the outer ring mana color claims are inaccurate. (It's also unclear if it represent the land base or the mana cost of the cards. It looks like it''s meant to reflect the mana base, yet it claims the deck has no blue lands...)
PS: also, it claims the deck is worth 300$ when 4-of hierarch and 4-of cavern of souls already bust that price by a wide margin...

Not sure I really like that hay stack. I think it will be an annoying card in commander. The good side of most protection spells and effects is that they only last until the end of the turn, so someone else can try to deal with the threat. (Outside of equipments which I also don't like much. I personally think Commander is more fun when you have an out. ) Phasing out means the things comes back just when hay stack is ready again to protect it. Oh well.
The RG reanimate pre-con must be centered on artifact and maybe lands? The squirrel one will be popular i guess even if they are not my bag of tea. Neither is group hug, but there are enough fan of that to make it sellable.
I'm not a fan of the lands. The plains and forest are OK. The swamp is ugly; the island does not look like an island and the water does goofy sprouts; the mountain are floating rocks and muddy, with its foreground being the same as its background.
Yes, it is you. All you want is to spectacle these poor people fighting each other to the death for some macguffin for your entertainment when all they want is to hang together and have a good time. Shame on you.
You misunderfstood what I meant: the bad part was that an opponent would claim you cannot cast the spell out of suspend because you passed the final counter removal. As in you say "upkeep, draw" but before you actually draw you realize you forgot to remove the counter and cast the spell and your opponent says "too bad, new rule says casting is optional, so you did not."
I say this because I've had multiple experience with such players.
IOW, they could have instead just added rules about suspend or do a small tweak to the casting spell sequence. On the upside, there might be cases where you actively don't want to cast your spell, like a rift bolt that would have no valid target except yourself. Still extremely narrow.
Well, yeah I had misunderstood the card due to the fact it uses "whenever" and not "instead". As I understand it, you can save all your creatures except one. (You make the first save the 2nd, the 2nd the 3rd, etc. The card text does not link the exiling to the returning (It does not say "when you do...")
It is better than a give-indestructible in the cases your creatures have ETB effect or when they were face-down as they come back face-up.
So, yes, it is better than I thought in the wrath scenario. And that's a problem: if they only die one by one, then you cannot make that chain and my point about being a non-bo with itself still stands.
For anything else it is bad. In limited maybe you get a divination if you got a detective token, but being rare and depending on other stuff to have already happen is awful. In constructed, you still need to cast it during specific time windows where you got different tokens in play. And I kinda doubt decks will bend their card choices just to run this. Then again, maybe there will be the perfect storm of a multi-tokens deck, I can't predict the future
And Anzrag's rampage can be really great. Putting a hasty Anzrag itself into play would be back breaking. In commander, X could be very high.
