So.... I have this buddy in my playgroup now that has a deck he claims is for multiplayer that we play some 1v1 that he will do a turn 3 Buried Alive, Turn 4 Reanimate on Sheoldred, Whispering One, Turn 5 rezes Terastodon... its so stupid. Sometimes he just goes straight into a turn 4 Terastodon on me.

Like.... seriously? I guess I will have to build a V Clique deck and just screw him if he wants to do that lol. But... its totally multiplayer bud, I swear.

To be honest, there are some multiplayer decks that can do that. My Karador, for example :D.

V Clique... that brings back memories. I guess if you're playing with multiplayer rules she can still be quite strong. I think a better solution would be 40 Instant Ruhan or Augustin. That'll give him something to think about.

Half the time I play with Hall of the Bandit Lord I hate it with a passion. It does have the potential to be good but coming in tapped and paying 3 life every time was always a pain for me. It's like the clunkiest land in the game.

On the other hand, I sort of like Deserted Temple even though it doesn't accelerate you. The best you seem to be able to do with it is untap Cradle/Sanctum.

I'm going to have to say that you should test Hall again. Who knows, it could be blowout.

I noticed you don't play Kor Haven any more and I'm assuming it's because you don't play much against voltron or that you don't have trouble with them? I know that this deck has some trouble against Wanderer and Griselbrand and it also stops Doran, Rafiq, and Ruhan. It can also be tutored. Kinda confused here.

And EDH decks are not fun to hold in the first place, LOL.

    YES THEY ARE. Mad

I can't remember what my sleeves are called but they're white with a sort of semi-see-through back. It's really sexy and I wish I could remember what they were called...

Shame on you for deleting that Woohah. It was such a perfect misclick that I'm sorely tempted to restore it. Sneaky

Do it and you will no longer be corrupt in our eyes.

Double-sleeving just makes the deck way too thick. It becomes not as fun to hold.

Having had him legal under the french list for quite some time, I was already prepared for how bad he is.

Under the french there's absolutely no question: you don't play him if you want to win. I was hoping he would seem more enticing in multiplayer, but nope!

Anybody else completely unimpressed with Koko now that he's unbanned? I have 2, but nothing to do with them.

That's pretty sweet, Viper. I don't have a team of people I can play with regularly so I pretty much just need to take a long break off the game. I usually play mid but I can take on any role quite easily. Going Gold in 3v3 is pretty sweet, but I couldn't stand playing Janna after her nerf about a month or two ago.

So after yesterday's banlist announcement, I have to ask. Did anyone else (here, because the fact that they're sold out everywhere means people definitely did) read it and immediately buy a foil Kokusho?

I don't play DotA or LoL, so I can't really join that conversation. I don't have anywhere near enough patience or interest to get really involved in online team based games.

I still have two copies from Kamigawa days but yeah, it's crazy how fast they've sold out.

Those were good guesses, Gal. But yeah, as Donald said, League of Legends and Defense of the Ancients.

The one constant in those two games was you.

In short - you suck, trololo!

..I agree with ignoring ratings systems. All that matters is having fun. Since it is, after all... a game. Or is it?

You have no idea how many I asked myself: "Am I the one who truly sucketh?"

So it got to the point where I had to start saving screenshots of the ending screen just to prove I don't suck and matchmaking is really the one at fault (I have some really funny ones).

I came to the conclusion that I really hate games where you have to rely very heavily on a large team to come out on top.

Take it from someone who has played Dota1 for years, dota 2 will be exactly like LoL (in regards to the community) once it leaves beta and is free to play. It is the very nature of Moba games to have the absolute worst communities of any game. They are too competitive to tolerate bad players.

Yep, I figured as much. The environment is not one that is conducive to good sportsmanship. I quit LoL because I was being paired up with trolls and (not to come off as a douche) people who were just really bad. I went from 1391 elo to 1100 in like 2 days. After that, I couldn't stand it any more.

Been in it for months. Definitely better than dota1. I've noticed I enjoy playing LoL more, but I love watching the dota tournaments.

LoL has that kiddy charm to it and is overall much more accessible. I played LoL for about 6 months before getting so angry at the people I was being queued up with in Ranked that I quit :p.

Guild Wars 2 is occupying most of my gaming time these days but I'm going to give Dota2 a try.

So I somehow got into the Dota2 beta... No email or anything. I'm so confused and happy.

The mere fact that some people are saying that they are now going to disassemble their green decks is more than enough evidence that Primeval Titan was format warping. People got off on playing what I would call the most ridiculous, broken fatty in the game's history, often combining it with black to get 15+ mana the turn he comes down. It was like a straight-up exploit.

Sort of. But that's a 60 card deck filled with stone rains that no longer exists. Whatever crap they call the standard and modern versions is sligh, not RDW.

I'm also going to be mortally offended at the thought of red being the weakest standalone color. Red has much more interactivity, draw, and shenanigans than white has. Really, can you think of any mono white deck that really gives you a sense of "oh god" that something like Norin, Krenko, or Kiki can offer?

On the topic of sligh vs. RDW, I love that somebody else understands the difference between the two.

People who think red is weakest standalone haven't played monowhite. Red can actually be terribly disruptive when played effectively. It getting draw and looter effects only solidifies its position as a relatively strong mono-colour.
