There isnt any played artifact creatures in standard so its more non-black.
I think we might see Razormane Masticore played in standard, and besides, if terror is really a must play then there will be quite a few black creatures out there.
I've heard good things about Pan's Labyrinth, I want to see it but it sounds like its really good.
In terms of extremely weird science-fiction kind of art movies, Pi and Eraserhead are just crazy. Most people probably aren't into that kind of stuff though. (side not: Dr. Strangelove fits in here, although it is funny, much more of a comedy)
Bladerunner is excellent, I will agree but I think most people have seen that. Ditto for Sin City.
I liked the Clockwork Orange book more than the movie, still its worth watching.
Dark City is a bit of a silly movie I thought. It is very comparable to the Matrix.
Hmm, I seem to be having a hard time coming up with some original suggestions to add to the list.
Oh wait, I know a good one! Being John Malchovich. Again, not alien-sci fi, but weird and very good. Funny and deep too!
Anyone here like Nine Inch Nails? The new cd Year Zero is excelent IMHO, but the most interesting thing is the very elaborate clues, messages, art forms and various websites that have been planted around the world and on the internet. If you don't know what I'm talking about you can check out the overview at www.ninwiki.com. Some of the sites are much better than others. My favorite one was www.freerebelart.net. You go to that site, type in your name and phone number and you get a call from the Bureau of Morality! Its a hoot, you should try it.
Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else on here has been following this or finds it as interesting as I do. Please discuss.
A land block seems like a good idea at first, but lands are much harder to create that creatures are. Thus, it would be unwise to use a bunch of great ideas for lands and then have nothing left for the future. I think Ravnica and Timespiral have pushed the envelope a bit though it terms of lands and I expect that that will continue.
Nihilith 1UBB
Creature - Horror
Haste, Fear
When Nihilith comes into play target opponent puts the top 10 cards of his or her library into their graveyard?
4/4
My thoughts exactly. I was looking to see if anyone had already caught that, and alas, here it is.
I think it is interesting how some people are so "OMG THIS IS TEH BEST CARD" when the poll results currently show that over 60% of the people who have voted think that this will go for $11 or under. I agree that it is very very good in a narrow selection of decks, but I'm not sure that the demand will be high enough to keep the price up once hype has died down. I voted for $7-$9, a decent price for a such a card.
Note that as rumoured above, it has a different effect than Ivory Mask, so even in single player, it would be better (other than costing one more mana).
I would appreciate it if someone could repost the scans for these cards. I'm having the same difficulty as many others - I can't see the scans on the first post or on the partial spoiler. Thanks!
Ditto. The Shah sounds like he'll be perfect for the deck I'm building that has Dracoplasm and Phyrexian Tyranny in it.
That art had been found a loooong time ago (seems like it was before Time Spiral . . . maybe even before Dissension?). Interesting to find that it is indeed Magic art and that it is in Future Sight. I seems to me to be more of a black creature, hopefully a dragon.

I got a pale moon in the one booster pack of Nemesis I bought. The fact that it was the one pack i bought kind of speaks for itself.

Not if your opponent is playing with Mindslaver
I hope thats what it really is. To me, it doesn't seem like its too much better than the Nimbus Maze "dual" or the RB one . . .
and for those that have suggested that it should be
tap: 1
tap: U or B, that would seem to me to be worse than Tainted Isle (which was uncommon!).
so I hope for the first version.
