This probably isn't a helpful answer to your dilemma, but I still happily run Deathright Shaman.

Quote from Mergatroid_Jones »My land section is based off the ones I open by chance, so there are pieces of a lot of cycles in there. I still run Dimir Aqueduct, and two other bounce lands. There are some worthwhile interactions, like Vizier of Tumbling Sands and Argothian Elder as well as landfall.
Since this is a whole cycle, I'll likely open one of the five, and I'll be very happy to add it. I would hope for a green one to work with Ramunap Excavator and friends. GB would be perfect for The Gitrog Monster and Muldrotha, the Gravetide. But I'm not picky: I'll play as many of these as I get.
Quote from Mergatroid_Jones »Wow. This is a masterpiece. Highest praise. It must have taken a lot of searching to find this much perfect art.
You really managed to capture the look of the game's youth. It's amazing how much more they were doing with the art back then. Imagine if cards still looked this good... I'd hire you for art-director.
Honestly, I have nothing to say but congratulations. This is probably the coolest cube I've ever seen.
Edit: I drafted the cube, and noticed that Carrion Feeder is missing the "can't block" text. I assume it's a mistake.
Quote from Humphrey »i just discovered this cube, its almost perfect.
man those artworks show the difference between art and the generic fantasylook we got like no other, where did you find all those. a lot seem to be custom made for the card.
is this still an ongoing and rebalancing project?
do you have a hq source for those images and/or cards.
