Locke finding no indications of information he turns toward the old man. Looks him over and decides that one of his wisdom should be able to answer any questions Locke might have.
Without further delay Locke makes his way towards the old man.

Five feet away from the man Locke bends ever so slightly in respect saying, "Excuse me, sir. Might I disturb you for a moment of time. I wish to discuss this realm, a bit of your past, and what may yet come to be if you will."

Locke comes out of the portal and looks about the triangler park.

Remembering his last moments in his mortal life among fire Locke pauses for a moment to appreciate the tranquility of this simple park.

After a minute lost in emotions Locke takes note of the two main roads wandering to where they lead.

Not noticing any signs Locke looks about for someone who might aid him.

Looking at the gate before him Locke says aloud, " Simple yet promising. If only the church was aware of what awaited on the other they may reviewed their preconceptions of the after-life. Even that of life. Perhaps they will come to see the truth as I have. Right now that truth tells me that my afterlife has just begun." With that Locke steps through the Gate and into the awaiting park...

Background - Locke is from a species that evolved to the point of mastering their own genes. As long as they could form a symbiotic relationship with an organism they could eventually incorporate the desired trait into their genetic code. This trait to quickly adapt and evolve as a whole led to the species feeling superior to all other lifeforms. This is ironic since the species thrived off of the other species for their power. But as with most species that reach a high intellect they never learn to mind the past and learn from mistakes. As such the symbiosians felt that any species deemed obsolete or insufficient for genetic material was destroyed. This xenocide led to a civil war within the species killing off billions of people. The desire to end the war on both side led to different evolutions within the species. The result was the sacrifice of intellect in favor of strength and speed. These "augmentations" led to massive bloodshed and eventually plummeted the species into a stone age. The symbiosians forgot how to utilize their genes to allow themselves the ability to change their own bodies. But they slowly built up their civilization to a pre-industrial age. At this point the symbiosians had regained most of their intellect and began exploring possibilities with chemistry and biology. Eventually a biologist interested in the natural selection of the species occupying the world that he new began to notice strange things. Among these observations was that people in different region tended to take on traits of the organisms around them when in long term contact. He presented his findings to the world at large only to be chastised by the leading religious state for blasphemous ideas. He was executed for his beliefs and blasphemy to the church. That's when he passed on into the Afterlife...
    Affiliations -None
    Allies -None
    Enemies -The Symbiosian Church
    Accomplishments -None so far.

    Skills
Symbiosis(Major)- Locke can create a symbiotic relationship with any organisms effectively gaining a bonus from the relationship. This relationship must be benificial to both parties and grants bonuses to both accordingly. After a long enough period of time the two eventually become one organism effectively creating a new being. This however takes time and a great deal of energy.

Genetic Sense(Minor)- By making physical contact with an organism Locke can gain insight into the organisms physical traits and capabilities.

Allright so I may be new at this but I love to build decks. I find myself always searching the forums for decks with the same ideas that i want to explore so I've decided to start up my decklists online to get critiqued. I'll take the good and the bad from everything. Obviously if someone doesn't like the deck for some reason they are seeing a weakness that I'm probably overlooking because of my infatuation with the theme.
So without further adu here is my Thallid deck for critique. Bashing is welcomed just keep it PG;) .

This is my first decklist attempt so it might get messed up if it does then I will attempt to fix it.

Deck Idea: Just like a standard Ghazi-Glare deck splashing black this deck has a great deal of creature control and can surprisingly keep pace with the fast decks out there. It can usually keep tempo with aggro simply because it can have the same effect as having a turn two kird ape just like theirs.
Effectively all you have to do is keep your opponent occupied until get your set up done. Then you can swing in with your army and knock them out. Contains nice combat tricks where you can stack thelonite hermits bonus with pendelhaven elder so that each 1/1 saproling token becomes a 3/4.
What I like about this deck is that it can handle almost all states of the game whether it be the early mid or late game. Late game is actually ridiculous with this deck once you hit a doubling season.

The sideboard is what i think i will end up encountering although i think i need some graveyard recursion perhaps a recollect or such. The current sideboard does however make life difficult for almost any creature based deck. Another reason for wanting recollect and such is because of mass removal like wrath of god. Perhaps 2-3 recollect.

Before I discuss this deck anymore I would like to give all of you the chance to critique it. So please step in and get to it!:D
