Well, that's embarrassing. Good thing I haven't gotten the card yet! Temmet is certainly not pushed in any way. I'm just having fun finding cards that work with it.
One of the somewhat cool (not super powerful, just nifty) things I've discovered is that you can slap Sword of Fire and Ice on the Temmet token and still target it with its own unblockability trigger because the token's white.
One issue I found with Bruna is that at times the game doesn't last long enough till she lands or she gets killed when she lands, having other threats in as heralds is idea.
I had Academy Researchers in the earliest builds. It just doesn't do enough TBH.
Hi guys. Sorry I haven't been checking in more often. I'm always on the lookout for new cards for the deck, though. There just hasn't been that any worthy auras lately. I think the last we got was Sage's Reverie. Apart from that, some good generic cards have come out. A recent standout is Pull from Tomorrow, which will probably replace Read the Runes.
I haven't catastrophe'd for lands in a while and I have been dying for another enchantment/artifact sweeper for a while, figured I'd try austere again. It used to be very good and the pendulum has swung toward enchantments a lot lately in my meta.
Good call. In some metas, winning via MLD can be seen as a cop-out anyway. Meanwhile, I'm stumped on what to take out for Angel of Sanctions and Vizier of Many Faces, let alone the rest of the new goodies.
The vizier is also an easy replacement for cards like Flickerwisp or Glimmerpoint Stag, if you're running those. Sure, you won't be able to reset planeswalkers and whatnot, but I feel that the flash more than makes up for that. Still, Vizier of Deferment can remove a creature that's attacking you in a pinch. Permanently, with Containment Priest.
I realized that right after I posted! I also love that at CMC4, Okertra probably won't make the cut in standard (although who knows). I'd really like to get a copy for cheap.
Undoubtedly a hard call to make. Equipping her with a Sword of Feast and Famine doesn't necessarily triple your mana, either. You have to have a mana sink to use in between those triggers (although the guy discarding 2 cards and 10 damage certainly won't be happy). I don't hate her. I really am beyond happy with how she turned out, considering what the other gods have been so far, but it really will be a huge challenge to find a slot.

Apart from that, I noticed how absolutely heavy on 6-drops it is. So many of the Temet-friendly cards are at 6!
Check them out (not a complete list):
Phyrexian Rebirth
Supplant Form
Stolen Identity
Back from the Brink
Saheeli's Artistry
Descend upon the Sinful (?)
Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang (?)
Feudkiller's Verdict (?)
Mirror-Sigil Sergeant (?)
And this is probably the only deck that would consider using Pure Reflection.EDIT: Ugh. Misread the card. It's pretty bad.I had Academy Researchers in the earliest builds. It just doesn't do enough TBH.

Embalm keeps on delivering.
