In regards to the comment to add painlands for warping wail, why not add deflecting palm to the side wich becomes splashable with battlefield forge?

Hey there I've played merfolk for about half a year now. I wanna play around a blue white variation, but I haven't seen anything too recent. I found this list (http://www.mtgtop8.com/event?e=9946&d=257370&f=MO), but I think its from pre-harbinger days so if there are any obvious changes I should make, could I get some advice?

Hey all! I'm going to be throwing together merfolk ASAP with Oklahoma coming so soon (storm just doesn't have what it takes anymore). So, i was looking at lists and talking to friends and saw the two decks that top 8'd Grand Prix Copenhagen and was having a hard time deciding which list I should pilot. could anyone offer advice to the pros and cons of them? Here's a quick link! I was also curious if running relic of progenitus, spellskite, and dismember are the norm.

Although I see a lot of potential in outpost siege and impact tremors, I would think that you would have to do twice as many ETB effects since they each only do 1 damage each and don't have the late game pump factor from purpheros. Though I do see Impact tremors getting a little more damage in because you can get it into play turn 2 as opposed to turn 4. the upside to outpost siege I think would be that you could say khans instead of dragons in super grindy matchups.

How is lightning helix in this deck instead of lightning bolt? It has synergy with Ajani's pridemate and I don't think the 2 mana versus 1 mana lightning bolt matters all that much.

would having a Resolute Archangel be any good in this deck? i think it would be pretty nice to reset your life total.

I'm thiking of making this deck, and seeing how splinter twin is really popular right now, how is that matchup? Also, a common sideboard card is bloodmoon. in the list that I see here, they run very few basics and dont even run fetchlands. do we just scoop if they land blood moon on the board or is there something i'm missing here? Also how is burn as a matchup? it runs rampant at my lgs.
