On another note I've tried the bloody rabbit midrange deck. I think its a valid way to play the deck. Personally, I prefer the more reactive, draw go, toolbox style with the tutors (trinket and treasure) and a plethora of silver bullets. I feel like it gives me game against more decks where the midrange version might be stronger vs other midrange decks and maybe fast aggro.

Could i see this Deck list

Take a look at a UB Mill decklist or, depending on how friendly the guy(s) is/are at your store, take a look at their decks and talk to them or figure out what cards you need to worry about.

Usually, the big mill spells are: Archive Trap, Mind Funeral, and Glimpse the Unthinkable. Counter them.

As I said in a previous post, if you're going to Expedition Map, transmute Tolaria West, tutor with a Mage, you better have counter magic in hand with sufficient mana ready to go.

The mill creatures: Hedron Crab and Manic Scribe, just kill or bounce as able.

I think the big issue you and others may have with mill is the assumed speed of the deck. It can feel like you're drowning when you get milled 20 cards in one turn. Just remember, it's not the fastest deck in the format. It can't overwhelm you with creatures like an aggro deck, so the battlefield plane shouldn't be too worrisome for you, so when it's the choice between bouncing/killing a creature and having mana for countering a mill spell, counter. The actual process of milling is very unlikely to occur by T4, so you have time to stabilize and get something going in most games. Don't lose your head is what I'm saying and make hasty decision because you incorrectly assume you're hosed.

luckily everyone at my lgs is generally nice ive have looked at their decks before. hopefully i get to play it again this week thanks for the help!

I've Found mill to be an utterly abysmal matchup. If you are playing chalice that can help, its probably not worth packing cards for imo though. Line up your counterspells right, Nimble obstructionist if you are playing it can stop field of ruins and qhost quarters from forcing you to shuffle.

i have yet to get a nimble obstructionist so ill definitely be getting one to try out. but ive noticed it can be a difficult match up putting down a clock is hard with them (at least in my lgs) running fatal push main.

Are we talking true mill or lantern style mill? I don't have much experience with UB Mill, having only played the matchup once or twice. From my recollection, it was a free win. HOWEVER, there can be significant variance in the UB Mill deck construction, as, from my experience at least, it is a "pet" deck that guys tailor to their personal style. Don't counter the small mill cards and don't search your library, unless you have counter mana up for the Archive Trap.

Lantern mill I have played several times and find that to be a semi-favorable matchup as well. Commit // Memory is a great card for either matchup, "true/traditional" mill and lantern. For lantern, either establish an early creature board or get Chalice out on 1. Alternatively, commit to the bounce / draw game to dig for an Ugin or Slaver, especially if Ensnaring Bridge is established.

Lantern isnt bad I haven't had too many issues with it but UB mill just wrecks me for some reason. We have 2 mill players on occasion but one of them exclusively plays it but it seems like I get matched with him every week lol. I need to actually keep notes so I can figure out why I lose to it

Has anyone tried Warping Wail? I'm playing 2 main deck right now just to get a feeling for the card. Let's look at the different modes first:
    ...

What did you swap out for the Wails?

I like your analysis and the idea. I had tried the card in the past, main board, and side. I was running a different list at that time, but your analysis and laying out the cards it hits, I could see swapping it in for the Spatials I have in the main. I feel as though I'm typically targeting the creatures you listed with a Spatial, anyway, so may as well use card that has additional utility.

Obviously, the big downside is there are a number of creatures that Wail won't hit and, some of those listed, as you also note, can get out of range through triggers, like Prowess.

I like the idea though and will test it out to see what my personal thoughts are.

i run one main warping wail and its come in handy in a good amount of match ups granted i dont play as often as id like so i dont play many matchs. the counter and exile are really nice. very happy with the card

Played mono u tron today since I drafted uma on Friday. I went 2-1, 2-1 vs dredge 0-2 vs UB mill and 2-0 vs living end. Only 3 rounds since we started up with 5 (Sundays are very hit or miss) Grafdigger's Cage was the stand out card this week. Side note I've been having of trouble beating mill if anyone has any tips in this match up I'd greatly appreciate it.

Of course, some matchups tapping out turn six for wurmcoil is lights out. Others its a death sentence.

The problem is cards like talismans and solemns are only good if you tap out for them on curve. Sure you can see a matchup and decide to not talisman, with plan to pitch for thirst later, the problem I see is there are so few matchups where tapping out turn two in this deck is better than showing remand/condescend. This is compounded by the best turn two talisman lines requiring a turn three tapout (karn, solemn).

More often than not im just trying to weather the storm early on until I can ostone, rift, wurmcoil or ugin. Talisman doesnt do enough to help me not-die by turn four and actually nonbos with ostone.

Other times we're playing a chess match vs control or combo where one flop of a turn is a loss. You cant go talisman solemn vs storm because theyll baral and kil you. You cant vs uw because theyll resolve a jace (and will probably logic knot the solemn to boot).

Anyways I think folks know talisman is a personal choice, it just took me a while to figure out that for me its that I want the deck to be draw-go until I have a window to play a gamebreaker. The only time I want to tapout on my turn early on is if ive got tron and a match where ugin, wurmcoil, ostone etc are going to slam the door shut.
    what is your deck list?

It's spicy but feels like it's in too many directions. If you want eldrazi go in and play 4 tks and 4 temple drop the artificats and lean into threats + countermagic. I believe that version popped up on an scg event once and had an article about it somewhere. Otherwise normal u Tron is prob more consistent but I do like tks in the board.
that's kind of what I thought looks interesting I might pick up the pieces to test it out

At my fnm and Sunday tournament I went 1-2 had to leave for the last round both times
    Fnm-
Round 1 storm 1-2 played against the best local storm player and the deck felt fine didn't find a rabble master to put pressure and he managed to combo off without a cost reducer. Pretty close games but he managed to take off.
Round 2 b/R budget 2-0 never seen this guy in the 4 months I've been playing but he had a budget elemental deck didn't really remember much took out all his creatures and he basically did nothing both games
Round 3 Naya zoo 1-2 a guy I've made friends with since coming to the shop normally plays jund but he built a random Naya zoo deck game one went well got blood moon off and he couldn't do anything game 2 back and forth he kept bolting me down we were both at 5 life and he managed to top deck bloodbraid unfortunately I had no removal and he had a bolt in hand game 3 didn't draw enough removal and got Beat down lol

    Sunday
Game 1 u/r wizards 2-1 never seen this Deck but I've heard of it. Seemed like a easy match up as long as you draw a threat which I didn't game 2 and lost
Game 2 saheeli combo 1-2 game one pretty easy best him down after getting rid of his walkers and creatures game 2 he had the combo unfortunately never played against this Deck so I wasn't too sure what to do had used a bolt earlier on a creature should've saved it for the combo game 3 he evolutioned into Lyra and the hexproof angel couldn't get rid of Lyra and got beat down
Game 3 GDS 0-2 never played this match up and got destroyed got stuck on 4 lands both games with one Stormbreath in hand game 1 and both in game 2 doesn't seem like a hard match up wasn't too sure what too do unfortunately

Overall the deck feels great few matches where I feel absolutely useless. My lack of game. Knowledge really shows but im learning and the deck helps out sideboarding is kind of tricky but I think I've got it down was running 4 magma jets main and they are a all star however next week I'm trying 4 Mind Stone again. Also I run 1 Karn generally I get the worst card having the option to return a cards is wonderful he's put in a lot of work especially with the construct tokens and he also draws a lot of hate sometimes with Hazoret its a little more annoying but again since I get the worst card I pitch it with her or just play the land haha

I think Sarkhan is overrated, but Dragon-Skred is totally playable.
Spoiler alerts, he isn't. The card is just that good
I've been having decent results with skred is worth running dragon skred over eternal skred? Are there any match ups that are better or worse than eternal skred?

After playing a lot both Skred versions (Scourge/Koth and now Dragons) I think Dragons is better as we can finish earlier and with all flying creatures. We can't play without at least 3 Relic of Progenitus. The original Dragons sidebord is a mistake.
Draconic Roar seems bad but 2 of them is good. I would play 4 but we can't play without artifact removal main deck otherwise the Aether vial decks outrun our removals. There are also decks using Ensnaring Bridge.

    That's it.

would you recommended building dragon skred? im currently on eternal/koth and been enjoying it quite a bit was wondering if its worth buying into dragon skred
