First, my understandinn of the rules:
-When you die all permanents (and spells on the stack) you own and control are RFGed
-You own anything that was created by an affect you control
Assuming both of these are correct, how do cards like Saproling Cluster work? Do you own the tokens if you own the card, or does the player that activated the ability own their tokens?
Speaking of Bastard Moddery, on the same night vamp was told I waved at him after he saved my life:
Quote from Xyre »
You sit at the ready, in your room, prepared for the worst. The needle is in your hand, in case you need to save yourself, and you wait. Tick. Tock.
Suddenly, a large, cloaked figure steps into the room, brandishing a pistol. You back away, instinctively, even though you know you are safe. The figure grins and fires. You feel the bullet pierce your shoulder, and you fall heavily to the ground. Before you go, however, you inject the needle's contents.
Immediately, you're awake again, staring down your assailant. He's noticeably surprised, and tries to fire again. His gun, however, choses that moment to jam. Worried about being caught, he runs from the room. Satisfied with the results, you drift off to sleep.
Also, Cyan, you totally had me, had I made it to the final day I think I'd have voted niv instead.
There were no kill atempts on non Suth persons last night. This means either both SK and Mafia went after Suth, we have no SK, or one of our killing groups chose to forgo there kill.
In general I'm very much in favor of a GT lynch, the fact that Suth was the kill does give me pause though, he was rather obviously the best misslynch. (Assuming that Niv is truthful, if niv is not then it's not a misslynch.)
As for my night action tonight I haven't yet decided entirely, but pod is on the short list of possible targets.
Niv, can you tell us the flavor of your untargetability.
Despite the contradiction I can't see lynching Niv first right now. We have only speculation that there is currently a SK out there, but we know there are mafia. From a design perspective I can actually see several factors that potentially make niv a better candidate for SK, still I don't want to take that chance.
Oh, and no, I have no intent to reveal what my protection options are for tonight, though I will read and consider all suggestions.
I agree with pretty much the entirety of Suth's most recent post. The one caveat would be that I don't find anything suspicious about a single vanilla existing in the setup.
After seing a bomb in the game, i was thinking htat there was a chance of a similar role, and i hped that a role like that oculdn't hit me.
Do you notice the part where you say "in the game"? Now you're saying that you predicted the possibility of this role existing in the game. Did you recently play a game in which there was a SS/bomb? If so, which, where and when? Did you stop trying to hammer after you saw the bomb in this game?
i was very tired when I made those posts, my bad. The point is, in 1106 (and others that day) niv expresses a desire to hammer. But it's not until 1109 that we discover that there's bomb in the game. Which as we know Niv claimed was the reason for his vote.
I need to hear a full explanation from Niv on that now, or I will vote.
Also, Pod, I missed what about Suth's claim and his actions would make him clear, explain?
The "Loran Now Owns Me Forever" Vote Count
(10 to lynch)
loran16 - 10 (Cyan, Nom_Anor, Ged, Sutherlands, arimnaes, Disrupt Your Hymn, Billium Tate, loran16, Wrath_of_DoG, Niv)
The town quickly recognizes just how scummy Mr. Loran is and wheels on him, ready to due justice. He stands there in his business suit, muttering to himself, as the town passes out various ninja weapons to deal with him.
"What's he muttering?" Wrath of Dog asks nervously.
You pause, listening for a second. It appears to be "Edison" over and over. Huh.
Bored and angry, Disrupt Your Hymn begins walking towards loran, wielding his nunchuks and a vicious glare. He pauses, watching loran, who is still just standing there, then swings them at his head.
At lightning speed, loran whips out a large sword-like device and holds it up in front of the nunchuks, which dissolve and fall apart. Loran then swings it toward DYH, who jumps away, panting from the sudden turn of events.
"What is that?" he asks, astounded.
Loran smiles. "I call it a laser-sword."
"Don't you mean lightsaber?"
Loran's smile goes away. "I said laser-sword! Damn you!" He leaps towards DYH, who backs away. The town, recognizing the uselessness of its weapons of choice, grabs a small armada's worth of firearms and runs toward him, opening fire.
Loran grins, and with ninja reflexes, blocks all the shots fired at him with his weapon, which disintegrates them. The town hastens to reload, while loran turns to bear down on DYH -
- and recoils as a bullet enters his chest. DYH, holding his own firearm, fires more and more bullets at loran. Rather quickly, loran, Nikola Tesla, Mafia Roleblocker, goes down, among the shell casings on the floor and a note, almost burned away to nothing:
Karma police, arrest this man
He talks in math, he buzzes like a fridge
He's like a detuned radio.
if he is mafia, Cyan is mafia. if he is gf, its convenient. If he is town, Cyan is entirely cleared.
Scum GT pretty much clears Cyan
Also, your plan relies on only one NK, but we had a RECRUITING sk, we don't know how the role replicates, but I'm not going to bank the game on it being inactive, seems too much like Kung Fu, I think that suth would be a better play for the day.
I agree that AK looks like a good lynch for today, but I'd like others to note that WoD has said both that he'd have been fine with claiming and dieing early game, and that he didn't want to die in the early game.
I expect to keep both Cyan and myself alive through the night, but if somehow neither of us make it WoD is the way to go barring new revelations.
Edit: Sorry, didn't need this thread in both forums. Got my answer.

-You own anything that was created by an affect you control
Assuming both of these are correct, how do cards like Saproling Cluster work? Do you own the tokens if you own the card, or does the player that activated the ability own their tokens?
If there are multiple opponents with whom you could clash are you obligated to choose one with a library?
I assume yes and no, but would like to be sure.
Also, Cyan, you totally had me, had I made it to the final day I think I'd have voted niv instead.
Cyan, did we ever get your role name?
I don't think either of these are good avenues of investigation, but I'd hate to leave any stones unturned.

Really freaking strong pseudo-vote niv. You want to try telling the truth now?
Before that my Lynch order ran roughly Suth, WoD, Gifts.

EWP: Coul you clarify what you do mean on Cyan?
Vote AK.
