I've been following your clan loosely for a while. Eegag has wanted me to play Pauper forever, and I finally decided to start. So, if you guys are still recruiting, I'd like to be a member.
Here's a decklist that I've been working on. Eegag helped me refine it, although I'm sure it could still see some changes. I think it has some definite potential in standard Pauper.
Some other considerations: Vigean Hydropon, [card]Shielding Plax
[/card]
This deck has a simliar idea to Polyjak's previously posted "The New Simic," but with a different approach.
The basic idea is to suspend a few fatties in the first two turns, then counter/bounce things until they come into play. Hopefully, you'll have a Herd Gnarr waiting for the suspend guys, and the Gnarr becomes a fatty himself. Slap a few Fists onto the fatties to give them trample, all the while making the Gnarr even larger.
Although I can't help you with color, I just wanted to say that that is a really wonderful piece of art. The tower looks almost like Odin's tower in Norse myths, or Barad-Dur from LotR. What is it supposed to be?
You did a great job.
EDIT: lol, look at my post count. Help!
Thanks, Oasis.
Now that you mention it, the tower does resemble Barad-Dur.
My art teacher gave me an assignment to draw a fantasy/sci-fi landscape, and this is what I came up with. I didn't really have anything in mind when I started drawing, besides that I wanted to draw some kind of city.
I know that most of you guys in the art section are quite skilled Photoshopmen.
I've attached a fantasy landscape that I drew. If anyone would like to add some color to it for me, that would be awesome.
I did attempt adding color, but I didn't really like the way it turned out.
Orzhov is, in my opinion, the strongest guild in guildpact.
I'm currently working on an orzhov build that splashes green for Loxodon Hierarch, and uses Otherworldy Journey on things like the Loxodon, Skeletal Vampire, Blind Hunter and Ghost Council of Orzhova.
I got two Souls of the Faultless at the prerelease, and I used a Dimir Machinations to transmute for them. All I can say is, Souls of the Faultless was GRAND in limited, and I think it'll do great in constructed as well. The 4 toughness helps a lot when it comes to avoiding stuff like Last Gasp and Lightning Helix.
The white witch, the older girl and Mr. Thomas the fawn where by far the standouts of the movie. I would have been happy to watch Mr. Thomas for 2 hours just interacting with people and situations. He by far had the most depth.
Don't feel bad. I haven't read the books, and I thought it was Mr.Thomas too at first. I'd just like to clarify that his name is Mr. Tumnus. I agree that he was the one best characters in the film.
I personally liked this movie. I'm not gonna say that the acting was great or the production was amazing, I just loved the overall feel and concept of the movie.
Moroii really seemed to hurt you. The deck not being too fast and all, you've got a good chance of having it out for a while. With no life gain in the deck, i would consider taking it out. I know you realize Kokusho would be better for that spot, but I also know you don't have any, so...Hmm.
Here's something to think about...maybe Followed Footsteps? A 1 of? I dunno, reading that building on a budget on MTG.com made me think. I know it would be bad for the legends, but...seeing FF on the scarab would be pretty frightening...But, if you were gonna use FF, you might not want to have necroplasm...Eh, it might change your deck too much for your liking, but maybe it's worth a try.
I was surprised you lost to Token Glare. It seems like you would have had a good game, what with hideous laughter and necroplasm. We'll have to do that matchup again, I think it could do better.
Also, i really never got to see much of the Trade Routes + LftL engine. I would like to see that in action.
I will go with Shoukas. I like how it has a slightly soft feel to the charcoal (pencil?) but he is still a big dude that you don't want to mess with.
Thanks for the vote, Sterling Angel. I actually didn't use charcoal for this one, just a regular old mechanical. It probably looks soft because of the shading stump I used.
I'm definetely gonna put some color into my next entry. Also, sorry about the hugeness of my picture.
I still think the first one Xander did with the art I gave him is 10-fold better than any token that could come from that art. That looks more like a wolf you might see on a carousel at an amusement park or something. Or a seeing eye dog.
I don't think it's that bad. It kinda looks funky at first, but it's growing on me. Those pics you found were really, realy cool, though.
WHOAH WHOAH WHOAH, No one mentioned Dragonlance. It's a huge series, and only about a third of it is any good. Definitely the Chronicles trilogy though, by Margeret(sp?) Weis and Tracy Hickman.
I enjoyed what I read of Dragonlance, although I never got very far in that series. I've read a few Forgotten Realms books (mostly the drizzt ones). I enjoyed most of them, but sometimes they got kinda redundant. The Dark Elf Trilogy was pretty tolerable.
I read Salvatore's The Sword of Bedwyr, and I liked it a lot. Although, I didn't really like its sequel as much.

I made this out of Crayola Model Magic.
It's my head.

I've been saying for a while that GW Glare is underrated. I'm glad the Japanese proved my point.
I'm also glad to see that a form of MUC is still alive in standard. I've never played the deck, but I've always respected its power, thanks to Eegag
Really Good.
Yuzi is awesome. I also really like the Ryuu character sketches.
