Guys, if that new Domri is legit, we're going to get a massive boost. A 3-color planeswalker that does four relevant things (anthem, ramp, uncounterability, repeatable creature removal)?
I'm not seeing it. I discard a card and pay the mana it would have cost to cast, only to *maybe* get a card worth the sasme or less. Instant speed is kinda good, I guess, but again, unless I play a deck with like 50% creatures, I may as well be throwing 4-5 mana and a card after ... nothing.
No one's talking about that Domri, but as a RG Aggro player who's gone infinite on MTGO, I must say I'm extremely happy. An anthem that ramps, destroys creatures and makes your own creatures uncounterable? For ... 3 mana? Um, yes, please.
The problem is that a card that turns an opponent's planeswalker into a creature is not just an incredibly narrow removal card, it's also card disadvantage for you. Even at 1CC I would never want to play a card that did only that instead of just playing some actual permanent removal. So it would have to come with significant upside on top.
Well, that comment kinda looks ridiculous when you look closely at the images and realize they aren't copy-pasted. Too many details are different.
