Glad that hes advocating nonviolence, but anyone involved in protests there is an idiot in my book and I don't feel the slightest bit upset that they get arrested, tbh.
AMEN!
It is a black eye for Magic that one of the game's designers is a left-wing nutjob protesting at the zoo known as Ferguson.

Of the many steps backwards MTGO has taken, the three Momir Basic Dailies per week is a tiny shuffle forward. If I'm available I'll be sure to play. Still quite surprised that they would leak some value into the event schedule rather than cramming the dick known as 8-mans down our unlubricated throats.
Momir Basic was the best format to build a collection with when there were still daily events since you could build a deck for whatever the cost of the avatar was at the time, and not have to worry about the Pauper metagame or high priced commons.
Pretty much anything but a Daily Event is garbage for the payout. The Premier events, with the minimum number of entries are a little better than 2 and 8 mans for value, but boosters being so low further hurts it all. They never fire anyway. It was my favorite format and I'm glad I got to build a collection with it and Pauper while it lasted.
I'd love to play competitively again, but its such a ticket burner. The client sucks too now.
They just release Vintage Masters, so they need to keep the Legacy and Vintage around for a bit so the players can enjoy the cards in Dailies before being relegated to 8-mans, 2-mans, and premier events. I'm sure they would like to <snip> out of non-sealed, non-standard Daily Events sooner, but like the frog in boiling water, it needs to happen slowly.
So with no Modern Pro Tour, why even have Modern Daily events? Block has already been axed and also has no 2015 Pro Tour. Yes, there are Modern GPs but I can easily see Worth-less Wollpert posting something like "We want our Daily Event schedule to mirror our Pro Tour offering, minus Legacy and Vintage for now."
Disgusting. Is it finally time to sell off the rest of my collection since Modern is my main format?
I thought I would share with everyone who is fed up with MTGO and wants to do their part.
I love(d) MTGO, and even with MOCS and PTQs returning (until they crash again), I just shake my head thinking about how great things were one year ago. I would be remiss if I didn't use every channel to voice my complaints, and this one is easy.
The beta/V4 of MTGO is the biggest threat to MTGO because it is absolutely awful. Popular streamers have left, many players are selling off their collections, and they didn't even bring back the MOCS or PTQs with it.
They supported both clients for a year plus, and decided to cut off the one everyone played?
The ability to turn a small investment into a continually growing collection of decks is being neutered continually. The latest casualty is Theros Block Daily Events being pulled. You could have started with THS block, won packs/tickets (though the values on packs are down due to garbage client and mass exodus from MTGO) and then added cards from the new block in the fall to play Standard, but now your best bet is to build Modern Burn which is competitive without fetchlands.
You're still looking at about $100 bucks to start, but with the new client and the urination on the player base, being profitable is getting harder. (unlike my Johnson)

Just keep in mind, these posts about extra rares in packs/boxes could be posted by shills/disinfo agents trying to propagate Hasboro's left wing agenda.

I would recommend tweeting, calling, emailing MTGO support and employees to express your displeasure with MTGO.
