Mystic Sanctuary is banned.
Simian Spirit Guide is banned.
Tibalt's Trickery is banned. (this was pretty obvious with cascades), also cascade gets an update on rules
Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath is banned.

Oct 10, 2020I always liked the combo of Triskaidekaphobia & Tree of Perdition, and I played it in modern.Posted in: Pioneer
Now, that fetches in Pioneer, I thought it would be nice give it a try in this format. But I'm not sure about the secondary color to play along it.
I was thinking on green from Abrupt Decay & Assassin's Trophy and other removal along some discard. But blue, can give responses to activating the tree trigger, and convert it into a 0/1 letting the opponent at 1 life, counters, drawing cards...
What cards you could try to recommend me on those two other colors?

With the new cards from Zendikar Rising, mill can actually be something in this format.
Phenax, God of Deception, High Alert and Fraying Sanity combined are totally great cards. Even with just High Alert, if milling cards are not coming, you can start doing a lot of damage with creatures.

I've been testing a GW enchant deck, but it was lacking some interaction, so I was looking for some red/black enchantments, and I came with the list above (still testing).
The deck has 12 "ramp" cards, 4x Starfield Mystic, 4x Herald of the Pantheon and 4x Wolfwillow Haven.
To interact more against creature decks, I've added 2x Assemble the Legion, 1x Outlaws' Merriment and 2x Mogis, God of Slaughter.
Klothys, God of Destiny will be a nice addition now that decks with Uro's and Kroxas' are spawning, as it will exile them.
Experimental Frenzy will help to drop more enchantments once we got a bunch of lands and 1 or 2 with Wolfwillow Haven attached to them and the cost reduction creatures.
What do you think about this brand new deck?
Captive Audience is lingering. It can help to reduce their life to 4 and finishing with Klothys and Mogis.
Aug 3, 2020If your local meta is with discard decks, maybe a playset of Leyline of Sanctity on your SB can work for you. It will also helps against burn decks.Posted in: Pioneer
In my opinion, if you are going to relly on many non-creature spells, maybe 2 Unclaimed Territory and 1-2 Mutavaults are the optimal numbers.

Yesterday I could do the mini combo of the commander Atla Palani, Nest Tender on Turn 3 along with Marauding Raptor on Turn 4, I haven't realized of how good these two work together.
The deck is simple, try to enrage your creatures and ramp as quick as possible to let in the commander or the big-daddy creatures from hand.
If you have any suggestion to the deck, let me know it!
