I find Leyline of Combustion card spoiled is really interesting: http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/leyline-of-combusion/
If Leyline of Combustion is in your opening hand, you may begin the game with it on the battlefield.
Whenever you and/or at least one permanent you control becomes target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, Leyline of Combustion deals 2 damage to that player.
I think this can be an interesting sideboard card.

Jun 14, 2019Today I've played the following deck:Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
Thoughts about today's list:
The deck was oriented to a Naya colors deck. And because of this, I found that playing Dregscape Sliver was more a sideboard card than a main one. Also, because of the lack of swamps, Sedge Sliver was almost always a dead card if we don't hit a mana sliver to regenerate.
The lack of T1 play (if didn't hit Vial or Striking Sliver) was very impactful.
So my plan for the next gameday is to:
4 Sedge Sliver
2 Dregscape Sliver
4 Galerider Sliver
1 Spiteful Sliver
1 Homing Sliver
Galeriders will help the first turn play.
Spiteful Sliver did a great job against Hardened Scales. It's basically a creature that stopped it from attacking with any creature thanks to it's ability to absorb the damage and redirect it.
Homing Sliver I found it quiet good to find the last pieces to win the game, so I'm going to add the second one.
My games today were:
2-1 vs Hardened Scales
First game I won thanks to Sentinel, Spiteful and Cloudshredder. Second game I lost on second turn with lethal infect. Third game I could destroy in a one turn hs and hangerbar thanks to harmonic. After that, the same as the first game.
2-1 vs Tron
First game lost against an Ensnaring Bridge.
Second I could control their tron lands with Telekinetic and finish him with Sliver Legion. Third game was very aggro.
1-2 vs Tron
First game I won by turn 4 thanks to cloud and lords. Second game I got wiped by Ugin. Third game I hit by 18. My bad that I add a third counter to the vial, if I didn't add it, I would win as I had a 2 mana cost creature that could also attack and do lethal damage on T4.
1-2 vs Humans
First game he curved perfectly all turns.
Second game CoCo and cloud with lords gave me the victory,
Third game he started with vial while I didn't had a T1 drop.
I had a lot of fun today with Slivers that I didn't had in a long time. Cloudshredder and Sentinel sliver felt so good together, even more with some mana generator slivers.
I hope, and think, that the changes I'm going to do to the deck will improve it even more.
Jun 9, 2019I would still prefer playing Blasphemous Act, just for preventing if we play against some Soul Sister deck, because maybe they go up in lifes quickly and it's not enough with another card.Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
About the Diffusions, in my local store meta, it's not very effective, mass removal, UW terminus and cryptics... But I should try to make a spot for Necrotic Sliver.
About Athreos, God of Passage and Dregscape Sliver... If you unearth a creature and gets destroyed, Athreos would not save it, because unearth will exile it no matter what.
Jun 8, 2019I think, just my experience by testing yesterday some new slivers as proxies, that Dregscape Sliver is one of the most wondeful slivers now. Your evasion creatures (galerider or cloud) will almost always get removed. On late game, you can just retrieve them again from graveyard and finish your opponent.Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
I was doing T1 vial, T2 cloud + striking, T3 mana sliver + other sliver... It was really feeling so good to play. Also my deck was playing 3 Spiteful Sliver, which will make your opponent force to focus him to remove before any other in the battlefield.
My list was the following (without mana and sideboard still):
I managed also to do Blasphemous Act for 65 damage to the player.
Jun 5, 2019What about Lavabelly Sliver in that shell?Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
Good sacrifying slivers could be:
Basal Sliver, Darkheart Sliver, Cautery Sliver... Also if you want to play The First Sliver, with mana slivers on play you can play them again basically if they decide not to pay the 3 lifes. And, maybe an interesting card for those slivers already in the graveyard, Rally the Ancestors, with mana slivers, you can add the colors pretty easily, sacrifice them afterwards and the if opponent pays 3 lifes, you can return them to play. I remember once playing the old UW control that played Supreme Verdict, and when tapped because I only had one card in hand, I returned them all and kill him.
May 27, 2019I have been pondering with the spoiled slivers until now, and I have brewed the following deck, without lands still.Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
The deck colors are basically Naya. I added the black for the huge slivers and the unearth one. I just found all them good.
Blasphemous Act is just my sweet spot along the newest Spiteful Sliver, so we can kill the oponent in one shot.
If Crystalline Sliver comes out, there is gonna be more changes, but for now, this is my newest brew for my sliver deck.
May 27, 2019New sliver spoiled:Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
Slivers you control have "When this creature is dealt damage, it deals that much damage to target Player or Planeswalker"
With this, opponents playing Anger of the Gods should be more careful if we have a Vial on 3 counters.
May 22, 2019Dregscape Sliver along with Darkheart Sliver can really be an interesting combination to take in mind.Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
Lavabelly Sliver for me looks like a sideboard creature for burn matchups also.
And the most glorious sliver: The First Sliver can let us cascade almost to anything, even Collected Company and Cascade two time more, at least.
May 17, 2019I'm going to try a 5c (mostly all splashes except for GW) with the combo of Blasting Station, Kaya's Ghostform and Renegade Rallier included.Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
So my deck can combo in four different ways:
1 - Saheeli + Felidar
2 - 2 Saheeli's + Titan
3 - 2 Felidars + Altar of the Brood
4 - Kaya's + Blasting + Renegade
So, as this prototype will have more enchantments, I changed Oath of Nissa for Serum Visions as it will send to the bottom potential cards to combo, so visions can set them properly on top of the library. Also, I added 3 Assassin's Trophy for some protection.
Hope tonight I can write a report of how it went and what cards I played and possible changes to make. Also your point of view would help a lot.
