Is Waste Not from M15 gonna be in this deck?

We're going to test it and see. It's very likely to be at least a 1-of. Three months to go!

I have tested Waste Not and I have loved what I've seen so far. Here's a great example against my friend playing Twin:

T1 On the play thoughtseize take out remand
    T2 Waste Not
T3 Wrench mind he discards a land and a splinter twin. So I get BB to my mana pool and draw a Raven's crime. I cast raven's crime with one of the floating B and he discards another land (So now I'm at BBB), with another floating BB I play smallpox he sac's one his two lands and discards a pestermite, which gives me a 2/2 zombie. At this point he has 1 card and 1 land.

This was my best example of chains from Waste Not triggers. I have found it to be a beast so far. Even if you're not going off like in my one example, the single triggers can be huge as well. I'm sure there is fear that it can be somewhat of a dead card/draw late game against matchups that empty their hand rapidly, but so can a lot of our cards in certain match ups (like Wrench Mind against Affinity). I would highly recommend all 8rack players to get their playset after it's release with M15.

Does anybody have a recommendation for those of us that cannot afford Bitterblossom? Those are the only major piece i am missing.

Dark Confidant is a nice replacement which I'm currently using.

I don't know if Dark Confidant is the best option when someone can't afford BB. haha Bob is more expensive than BB. But main board spellskite or spot removal isn't the worst option.

MemoryLapse, do you run Shadow of Doubt in your sideboard? I have definitely thought about it. It's good against American, Pod, and basically says "Counter target Scapeshift spell" among other uses. I had it in the board with a different deck and in a game against American control I nixed two of his fetches, needless to say it was a blow out after that. I haven't tested SoD in 8rack, yet. If you have I would love to hear how it went.

Unfortunately because of work I'm not able to play at my local shop very often. At my store there are a lot of really good players playing top Modern decks. Between that and my friends (who play top decks UR twin, Robots, Merfolk, Scapeshift, Big Green, Zoo) my love for spellskite has grown infinitely. Within my play group of shop and friends there is only 1 Storm deck and 1 burn deck, so that is probably why I question LoS.

As an aside, there's a pod-guy at the shop, who is really good, but is very pretentious and always talks about how good his deck is and doesnt go 5 minutes without talking down to people about his GP experience.

I just wanted to share that I 2-0ed him. It was a massacre. He raged quit and took his GP deck and quit the entire event actually.

I thought that rage quit deserved to be shared with fellow 8rack players.

So, I am a long time lurker of mtgs. I love the 8rack deck, and this primer is the reason why I finally registered actually. I've read dozens of the pages on this forum (which I've loved), and a lot of the focus has been on the mb, but I'm curious about the sb's everyone is running.

Some people play leyline of sanctity while others don't. I dont play it myself. I am very aware of it's power against particular matchups, eg Storm, Burn. But is it worth the risk of mulling yourself into oblivion and/or setting up dead draws? Spellskite can eat burn spells and force the opponent to 2-for-1 themselves, while we attack their hand, and not mention it can block. It just seems so much more versatile.
