I think it's hilarious in EDH and not so bad, since everyone is at the same starting point and with no cards in hand. Setting up the shenanigans with it would be most of the fun.
This Jace is likely only to find a home with casual players and he's fun in EDH. I immediately want him in a Niv-Mizzet deck. And he's a limited bomb.
For constructed, it's hard to say...we don't know what INN has in store for us and right now I think there's better 5cc walkers in Venser, Gideon and Elspeth. I'd rather just have baby Jace tbh. I can't even believe SCG has this guy pre-selling for $35 a pop...that's just ridic and he'll prob slide down to around $15-20 mark after release and the only reason I'm keeping him that high is because of casual appeal.
This summer, a sequel to Stainless Games' popular Magic: The Gathering game, Duels of the Planeswalkers, will launch on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC. Joystiq has secured details on the first deck in Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, Kiora Atua's combination blue and green deck.
Kiora Atua is a "female merfolk who commands the powers of the tides and depths." She sways dominion over the older creatures of the sea -- such as krakens and leviathans. Hit the jump for the full deck list.
Time Reversal will never have the potential of Time Spiral simply because it doesn't matter if you just untapped a boring six Islands you played TS with. You just drew seven and have six untapped Islands to cast whatever you drew.
TR just means that you and your opponent drew seven, and now your opponent gets to use his new hand while you're still tapped down from TR. Assuming the same basics, that's five tapped basic lands against a new hand of denial and the means to use it, just for starters.
But what deck is going to want to use Time Spiral at all for anything like that? Doesn't this card just want to do what ppl tried to do with Time Reversal + Dream Halls and failed?
I personally think it's just all hype right now and this card will go back down.
I don't even understand why ppl are going that crazy over Time Spiral being unbanned. Time Reversal does the exact same thing and untapping lands seems sorta irrel in Legacy because there's no lands to really abuse like when this card was originally insane.
summoner's trap...some sort of green or green/x ramp deck.
you could even run some sort of gw deck that uses that 0/4 defender who gains life and the new wall that gives mana for defenders in play to help ramp out summoners trap, while still having a game vs aggro and you could run iona as well as non-eldrazi beef that could also be trapped into.
i wouldn't be surprised if demonic tutor is in m10, just based on the fact that they gave it flavor text involving lilianna and she'll be in 10th. but bob as an uncommon seems retarded, like it is in dvd...they'd hafta make it rare.
This card might be okay post-rotation, but it's hard to say since we don't know m10 or Live yet. Right now this card won't be efficient, simple because there are too many board sweeper effects and every deck is running fallout. I think this card would be a lot more viable if it was 2/3 and not 2/2, due to the aforementioned fallout. I guess you could run Mark of Asylum to not have to worry about fallout/burn, but why not just play good cards for now. Break this card post rotation imo.
so does this mean that the rav block shock lands aren't being reprinted as they were initially rumored to be in 11th? albeit they were rumored, the word on the street seemed pretty strong for their to be back
Probably unplayable in Standard.

just a thought.
and makes since, since the other fetches rotate out of extended
I'm pretty sure that False Cure + Beacon of Immortality = nothing
False Cure says when you gain life and Beacon says double not gain. I'm not sure though, but the wording suggests that wouldn't work.
